You can't use Rapidshare to host files to be linked to using tags like [img].

I copy/pasted your link and it gave me the file download dialog. Please move it to either our uploader, Photobucket, or Image Shack.

Also, it is considerably unlikely that a request like this will be answered. ROM hackers rarely gather to even cooperate with those they long accepted as ones of their own, as working together with others means both surrendering creative authority over the work produced and exposing oneself to the risk of losing effort due to the other party's unreliability. At the very least, you should have an extensive amount of already-completed work to show so that you can demonstrate your competence and worthiness of cooperation.

Few communities understand themselves as some ROM hacking kindergarten where everybody cares to hold newbies' hands until they can walk on your own; rather, walking on your own is a skill that you are expected to develop alone.

Yet another problem, you don't even state what issue you're having with smb3!

You don't need ASM to make a ROM Hack.
(But it is a nice thing

Learn it on your own. Most people here did. There is plenty of material out there.

Stop acting like someone is obliged to do the work for you.

Also, I would argue that for real ROM hacking, you do need to meddle with the game's code or at least data structures; at least, clicking colourful buttons in an editor would not count.

Some links...

RHDN 6502 docs know how.

Nes DeV

6502 DoT oRg

If I'd had the time to hack I'd be all up on NES ASM, so it's good to know it.

Until Reuben is in a stable release, I'm assuming you're using what's already available right? Anyway, for now don't use more objects & enemies that's already available in a level. Doing that will mess up later levels in the game, that happened with my old Wario 3 ROM Hack.

Other than that, keep doing what you're doin', like NightKev said you don't even state what issue you're having with smb3... oO

No one can really "help" you with a programming language. Tutoring only gets you so far. Sure, there's a lot of terminology involved, but when it boils right down to it...it's up to you, the scripter, to see past the numbers on the surface and turn those numbers into something that transcends their basic nature.

I'm curious as to where all this will go...

In the world of programming, "help" and "teach" mean the same thing, but only to someone who already knows the language. There is no "help" for the uninitiated, only learning.

And you haven't even offered the slightest hint of whatever the hell it is you specifically need help with.

And no, nobody will "help" you (read: "do your hack for you") without a damn good reason. This isn't a world of silver platters and happy bliss, sorry (not really) to shatter that misconception.

Hell, I do very little romhacking and even I know how the world works.
