So I finally had my chess game with Kawa, here's on PGN format for all to enjoy:

1. c3 e5 2. Nf3 e4 3. Ne5 d6 4. c4 dxe5 5. Nc3 f5 6. Nd5 c6 7. Ne3 f4 8.Ng4 Bxg4 9. h4 Qb6 10. a4 Bc5 11. Rh2 Bxf2# {Black mates} 0-1

Let's go move by move, shall we?

1.c3

This is a very coward move, I mean, c3? c4 serves the same purposes without seeming girly.

1...e5

Now THIS is a move, 4 pieces are ready to develop just by this, unlike e5's 0 pieces

2.Nf3

Knight: Prepare to die you pitiful pawn!

2...e4

Pawn: Oh yeah? Who is pitiful now?!

3. Ne5

Knight: OSHI--

3...d6

Pawn: (whispering) hey knight, the queen says that she loves you!
Knight: O RLY

4. c4??

Goes closer to listen to the whispers.

Pawn: NOT RLY, now I EAT YOU!

dxe5 5. Nc3

The other knight: NOOO MY BRROTHER!

f5 6. Nd5!?

Knight: I SHALL AVENGE YOU!!

c6

Pawn (glares): Run knight run

7. Ne3!?

Knight: Huh, that pawn looks scary, I'll let the revenge for another day...

f4

Pawn: What about me?

8.Ng4??

Knight: AAAAHHHHHHH

Bxg4 9. h4!?

Black Bishop: That damn knight wasn't letting me sleep, cutting his neck was surprisingly effective.

Qb6 10. a4 Bc5

White King: Huh, those black pieces are some big cheaters! Rook, move forwards and kill them!

11. Rh2 Bxf2#

Bishop: Hehehehe

King: You! Pervert!

Hours later:

Bishop: I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Revelation, 22. 13

King: Please kill me already!

Thanks for playing Kawa! At this point I don't think it matters who won the game, but the fun we had and what we learned, see you next game!

It... it was the bible quote, right? Anyway, what I really thought about c3 was too dry, so...

No, not the bible quote. I actually kinda like that one.

Actually, I meant the whole replacing all the pro commentary with bull. Would've been better to have both -- the readers could learn from that.

IOW, it was too dry but now it's flooded.

Oh, you can't have it both ways! Not in one post anyway, here's the original commentary for people interested in chess:

So I finally had my chess game with Kawa, here's on PGN format for all to enjoy:

1.c3

This is called the Saragossa Opening, I think it's the first time I play this opening, the ideas are to develop the Queen to b3 to attack the pawn on f7 and b6, or just support a d4 pawn push. The negative side is that it blocks the c3 square that is a great spot for the queen's knight.

1...e5

Opens the way for a future development of the bishop or queen.

2.Nf3

Develops the knight and attacks the pawn. This looks like an Alekhine with reversed colors (after 1.e4 Nf6).

2...e4

Chases the knight away.

3. Ne5

Puts the knight to safety.

3...d6

Chases it again.

4. c4??

This move loses the knight that now can be captured, better was Nc4 to put it back to safety.

dxe5 5. Nc3

Develops the other knight and attacks the pawn at e4, however, this pawn is protected with f5 the next move.

f5 6. Nd5!?

Now, the knight wasn't chased away, so there was no reason to move it again. Usually it's good to put all the pieces in action, so a move like Qb3, to attack the pawn at b7, so that the bishop at c8 cannot move (because it's the only piece protecting it) would have been better. Now c6 was moved to chase the knight.

c6 7. Ne3!?

This move isn't good because it allows the knight to be chased again. Getting it back to c3 was better, even if it looks bad that it was the place from where the knight came from. f4 was played to chase the knight.

f4 8.Ng4??

Losing this knight as well, because this square was protected by the bishop at c8. Better was Nc2, a safe square. Now the bishop captured the knight.

Bxg4 9. h4!?

At this point in the game it's critical to develop the pieces that white still has, the rook can't be developed because the a3 square is protected by the bishop. Qc2, attacking the e4 pawn, and freeing the e pawn from the pin (if the pawn moves, the queen is captured) was better. The queen was moved to b6 to attack the b and f pawns (though they are protected). a4 was played, and once again, the other rook can't be developed because the other bishop guards the h3 square.

Black moves the Bishop to f5.

Qb6 10. a4 Bc5

This attacks the f pawn with two pieces, and only the king is there to defend it. But what is more important, it threatens mate, because the king doesn't have a square to flee after the pawn is captured. Moves like d4 or e3 don't work, because the bishop just captures the pawns and the threat reappears. So, a queen move to free the space besides the king was necessary, however, Rh2 was played, and then...

11. Rh2 Bxf2#

Black plays the mating move, game over.
