For some reason, my computer won't load the "Posted!" page this morning. When I type my post, Firefox just stops on "Waiting for acmlm.no-ip.org" for an infinite amount of time, however if I use the back button I find out that my post went through. Is anyone else having this, or is it just my ISP or computer? (My ISP sucks, so it's easy to blame them)

Yeah, I'm having this same problem too

Can someone figure out what's going on?

Posting works fine for me, I think.

Edit: Yep, I got the usual Success page and then was redirected back here. Maybe I should test it with IE and see if that makes any difference.

Edit2: Works normally with IE as well.

My connection was down for a while late last night up to the morning, and posting here loads a page on my computer to announce it on IRC ... or tries to, when it can't (works now because, well, it's back up)

But I did set a timeout for it (5 seconds, I think) so it shouldn't wait forever ...

OK, I didn't actually wait an infinite amount of time, but when the problem existed it would wait for much more than five seconds.

Ah, I was thinking of a different function, the one used here doesn't have a timeout parameter But there's a PHP setting for this (default_socket_timeout = 60) I could try lowering, so I'll do that ...
