Yes. That was the most knifelike object I had, barring a plastic knife I carried around for months and failed to track down in the one moment when it would have been the most useful.

How do you know the cake is delicious before you've eaten it?

That's the first time I've seen anyone using one of those to cut a cake.

Also, cake doesn't look delicious to me.

The decoration on top of it looks like something that's already been in the stomach but didn't want to stay there.

I've seen better, but who knows? Maybe I'd jump off my chair in joy by its taste and spend my life hailing it, or just say "it's not that bad", probably something in-between.

The most delicious cake I've tasted was on November 22 2009, this was my review:

"[T]he cake was awesome! It was like a remix of very delicious flavors, 2 different chocolates (one for bread and one for the cover) + crème caramel + jelly + sweet coconut + something else that gave it a "hotcake" touch to it (if you've eaten hotcakes you now what I mean.)

And it was awesome! (enough for repetition), seriously, I don't remember eating something as sweet before and it was awesome!"

Now that was delicious, but since we can't yet send flavors by internet (thank god) this description isn't better than that picture.

Argh! Now you got me eating my monitor! (and note it didn't taste good)

No, seriously, that cake you just described sounds really awesome. I'd like to see a picture of it, so I can salivate more at it... pictures always get me salivating more than textual descriptions...

Unrelated: that 'yum' smiley should be included in the board

I for one cannot wait until we can send flavors over the internet.

And that cake up there isn't really something I would REALLY like to eat. I'd eat it, sure, it's CAKE. But I do not enjoy nuts on cakes. Or inside of them.

Cheese Cake is my favorite kind of "cake". My favorite ACTUAL kind of cake would probably be plain ol' chocolate but hey, I'M A BORING GUY.

Would you still think it's great when spammers send you flavors of shit through email?

My favourite cake would be something like a mix of milk chocolate and white chocolate. Would kick ass. And with something crunchy in it.

A picture wouldn't make it justice, the cake looked great, but it didn't even look 1/4 as good as it tasted, because, it's not just about throwing a bunch of great flavors together and hope it tastes good, it's about reaching an optimal balance of amazingness of flavor (including texture and temperature), and the cake did it, so good it deserves to invent "new" words for it.

When I imagine flavors downloaded by internet I think of an electronic lollipop, that is, a tasteless lollipop with a USB port that goes to the computer, then flavors are coded in binary and uploaded to the lollipop, so that the lollipop tastes like that. One problem would be the lollipop business since why would you buy them if you can get the flavor on the EL? But just like Star Trek replicators I don't think flavors could be emulated with enough precision, so you'd still like to taste a real one now and then (if you like candy, all kind of flavors could be uploaded to the lollipop, of course.)

Avoiding bad flavors would be just like avoiding disturbing images/videos or terrible music (both automatically downloaded when you surf the web) so that wouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for liking my smiley
