EDIT:For some reason LazyShell 2.1 crashes, I can't edit the levels, scripts, or sprites. Can anyone tell me how I can solve this problem

Lazy Shell works for me and many others so I doubt if it's Lazy Shell's fault.
If nothing in Lazy Shell is working at all, it is probably a problem with your ROM.
Is it a .smc file? Is it the correct ROM?
It is always possible that the ROM you're using got corrupted somehow. My only advice is to try again with a fresh ROM.

Yes, it is a .smc rom but what is the correct rom to use? Is there a way I can transfer my work from the old rom to a new one?

As far as what ROM to use, it should work with any SMRPG ROM.
As far as I know, the only way to transfer work between ROMs would be to use Lazy Shell's importing and exporting features, but if Lazy Shell isn't even letting you access the sprites, levels, or scripts menus, then I guess you wouldn't have access to those.
I guess you could always create an ips patch of what you have so far and apply it to a clean ROM, but if your ROM is corrupted, I don't know if that will do any good.

Sorry I can't be more help than this. I do feel your pain, though. I once had to start over a great deal of work when I first started my hack because of random out-of-the-blue corruption.

I think there is something wrong with going from Lazy Shell 1.0 to 2.1 using the same ROM. I was working on my hack using LS 1.0, and I upgraded to LS 2.1, and most of the main editors wouldn't even load... I didn't modify it outside of LS in any way, so it's gotta be LS.

Well I've used the same ROM from 1.0 to 2.1 without any problems so I don't what to tell you.
