I notice that Megaman Hacking is really popular around here. Given the case, shouldn't there be a separate board for MM Hacking?

You're gonna have to present it to one of the admins if you want it considered. Although, if there's gonna be a staff poll about it, I'll make my vote public by saying, "Sure, why not?"

Well. I might want to clarify mine too. I meant that I'm not a moderator, and certainly not an administrator. But yeah. You're right. Moderators just moderate; the ones who create the forums are the admins then.

Also, your post sounds like I am the one who suggested the idea. Maybe it's just me having misread it.

There's 2ch forums that are purely dedicated nothing but to megaman dicussion.

Specifically the place i hang out at and am well known by the japanese community is the rockman remodelling dicussion board. Where all people ever talk about is megaman rom hacks. both japanese and english hacks.

You guys would be surprised at how much the japanese community sometimes, will talk about the latest demos by matrixz and infidlity.

Of course, such a board could make Megaman hacking more popular and increase activity here - especially if more people start hacking Megaman because of it.

I'm not sure what to think about the merit of such threads. Sure, it cleans up the ROM hacking forum - but it does so at the expense of order for discussion of questions about the game in question. If the threads aren't becoming too much of a clutter problem in the ROM hacking forum, I don't think there is a good reason for such a thread nor a separate section to be established for it.

If I recall correctly, the original reason for the SMW Hacking forum being forked off was that like 60% of the threads in ROM Hacking were about SMW and other threads were getting pushed off page one by them within a day. I don't think such a problem can be observed with Megaman threads in the ROM hacking section at the moment.
