Last view: 3015 days 		For mine. I chose it because I like Mario games and Mario characters. But also, when I chose it, I was in a "Mega mood", where I was feeling like calling "Megasomething" everything I made.

So, I first thought that my username should have "Mario" in it, as Mario is the most famous character in those games Then the "Mega mood" did the rest.

The dot between Mega and Mario is here because I was wondering whether the username field accepted spaces or not, and thought it'd be more safe to not put spaces in it.

I was seven years old and thinking it would be incredibly witty to place a leeth4xx0r-sounding username (or so I thought) in the login fields of idle SPARC workstations at my mother's university. Two or three years later, I was trying to find out more about the Unix shell for a certain project and wound up registering at some board which seemed 1337h4xx0rish to me so I recalled the 1337h4xx0rish username I came up with. Things piled up, and I wound up getting known under that handle/email address long before I achieved internet maturity. Nicknames are quite hard to get rid of when even your real-life friends and a few school teachers call you by them.

One day, just before joining Board 2, I thought, would it be possible to have a layout where a traffic light appears and the lights switch on/off when you scroll around?

It turned out to be very easy, but after being done with it, it looked out of place and random, so I made my nick match it. For some reason it looks normal in a self-referential way.
