Say what? I didn't remove my sidebar content, which would if you ask me, falls under "messing with the board's layout". All I did was demonstrate a better transparancy effect that happens to look funky because I can't remove the sidebar content, with a trick that merely temporarily replaces my post layout. under construction Well, I've been dicking around with my layout getting help in IRC but I can't seem to figure this out. What I want to do is have a sidebar with whatever I want to put in it and a post body to the left, like everyone else. That's kinda what I've got here, except when you downsize the window small enough, the sidebar draws above the whole thing. I'm trying to keep everything in div tags. Problem is, these div tags seem to calculate things awfully stupid. Meaning, if I set the post body to a width of 80 percent, and there's a box to the left of it, it still calculates 80% of its *whole container* and not the whole container minus the width of the box. Simply put: Is there a way to reliably mix two div boxes where one box is a variable width (percentage) and the other box is a fixed width? under construction Here's another variation I've tried. Why not just set a class for the bars for admins?
You would be able to easily style it with CSS. Kinda like on NN, but only for admins. |

...My layout is getting to be quite a CSS bomb... layout.php Parameters: id = User id bar = enable EXP bar isnn = If set to true, use alternate classes ...So yeah... Edit: Edited the quotes a bit, do they look good? |
