I play the roundy-poundies in a rock-ish band named Gelatinus Cube. We have an album that is free for download. Also, the link to our myspace is listed as my website in my profilw.

I'm gonna listen to the music and see what they're like. I'm not in a band, though my friend wanted me for a ska band he was gonna put together because I used to play trumpet. The only bands I was involved in were concert and marching bands in high school. By the way, I think this would be better off in Entertainment. |

Haha, oh man. Back in the day, where I'm from had a pretty thriving local ska scene. There was a handful of quality stuff there, but that flame largely died out. There are still a few good active (last time I checked, at least) ska bands around these parts though, including a delightfully talented group of high schoolers (maybe they graduated, I'm out of the loop  ) doing second-wave ska who call themselves Johnny Red and the Skammunists. Gotta love pun-oriented ska band names...

I can believe there's a few talented groups out there, it's a shame they're the ones that are quitting and leaving the really bad bands to take over. I can't remember what my friend was gonna call the band, but I think it was something along the lines of pun-oriented something.
