I live in an apartment, single floor, but it's pretty large (1700 square feet + long balcony strip) and it's very nice inside, if not for my dad and I being clean freaks. And we only share the building with one other person, who lives on the third floor. We live on the second, and the first floor is a parking lot and storage area for us.

It was a very nice deal for us, since most Japanese live in much smaller houses. There's also only one other person living in the house aside from me, so the amount of space we have is very convenient.

Two-floor house with a basement, and an attic that's above the garage (on the first floor.)

There may be an attic above the 2nd floor, but I've never seen it and as such I doubt we use it for anything.

...I just went and checked for a ceiling panel on the second floor, and there is indeed one on the ceiling in the guest room closet. I thought I saw one somewhere! We probably don't use it for anything. Maybe there's dead bodies or something up there, heh.

Fly to the coins
The house itself has two floors, but my closer family specifically doesn't live on the second floor. It sort of counts as an apartment, but it's actually still part of the house. Other people live there, who are more distant in the family.

Once the part of the house I'm in now was also a seperate apartment, and is technically wired like it was; I can't get the internet connection (DSL) through this side's phone line. I had to run it through the room behind it where the other phone line was and connect it into the jack there. I'm fairly certain the second floor was also wired like so.

We don't have a basement, garage, or attic, although there does seem to be a square-ish hole in the ceiling near a bathroom where I never knew what the inside of the hole looked.

Two floors and I think an attic we never use.

I live in a 1.5 story house. All the ceilings on the second floor are slanted. :/

As of right now at 12:26 AM on Monday, I live in a small apartment that has 2 bedrooms that I share with my roommate.

After Thursday's graduation ceremony, I'll no longer be living in this dorm apartment in Pittsburgh, and instead be living with my dad and his soon-to-be wife in Brookville in a really nice 2 story house that has an attic and finished basement. It's a really nice house.

Trel, I feel like I should instantly buddy up with you in RL with sole intention of scoring a place to stay since I'll be homeless by the end of the month.

No, really, I'd vote, but there's no point.

I would love the idea of rooming with you, KP. Only problem is that my dad's fiancee is already a bit miffed that I'm crashing with them and she told me that as soon as I get established financially that she was booting me out to live on my own... Not to mention that there's somewhere in the neighborhood of 2500 miles between us. D:

I live in a one-story house with an attic above the garage. I never really go up there though.

House with two stories.

There's an attic, but it is quite unusual: there's nothing in it. Apart from some dusty spider webs. This attic would be impossible to live in due to the architecture

There's also a basement where there's not much apart from spiders and spider webs, some leftout stuff...

KP, if you're ever looking to move out here to New York there's lots of places in The Bronx where it's affordable. Here's a listing on Craig's List you can check out...

I live in a 2 family house with a basement.

Two-floor house, three if you include the basement.

Upper and lower floors are mostly used for storage, though.
