So when you type a post and put in < and/or > ( < / > ) characters, the final output looks as expected.

Now you want to edit the post - here comes the bug. Those characters, in the post textbox, instead of staying under their original < / > form, become < / > .

Chances are that people don't notice it right away, but after having edited their post and seeing it all messed up.

Consequences of the bug:
- Loss of time
- Extra edits to the post
- Possibly board's layout completely messed up, depending on what the user typed

Well, that should be fixed. Every time you edit your post, you've got to correct those characters...

For example, you write <s>. When you submit your post, you get <s>.
But after you edit your post, the <s> disappears and all the text past it becomes strikethrough.

Fixing that must not be so hard - I think it's just the board converting the < / > before the post is stored in the database; if it's the case, it must be an issue with HTML escaping or something in that line...

By the way, it also happens when quoting...

Just noticed the bug is also present in the post header/signature fields when you edit your profile.

It actually seems to be present in anything related to posts, except when previewing a post.
