The 50-some inches of snow is down to like 15 now, and there was some serious wind today. One of the high schools had a power outage and had to close at 10. Also, none of the schools were allowed to go outside/use trailers for almost the whole day (the wind warning ended at about 3:20 or so). ____________________

That big snowstorm that hit the east coast finally dropped its mother load of snow on us. What hadn't started melting was waterlogged and really heavy, I dug out my driveway, sidewalk, and my aunt's house... Took me about two and a half hours and now I'm tired and sore since I did all of it by myself. :| |

The air has been warming up here over the last several days. The temperature was above 70℉ for the first time in months in some nearby areas.
Also, the first daffodils of the season have opened within the last few days. Spring is coming fast. There are already thunderstorms forecast for Monday. |
