I also haven't gotten around to finishing the monologues yet, so a chunk of the story is left unexplained. I'll fill in the gaps here. The game is set three years after the "Rockvan wars," where Hyrule was invaded by a country called Rockvan. Rockvan ends up seizing most of Hyrule and razing Hyrule Castle. It was discovered that Rockvan supplies and troops have been arriving in Hyrule via a magic teleporter, the Gargann. 7 magicians are called o Click here to download Edited by KP9000 for link clickability and screenshot visibility. I've checked it from the insides of Hyrule Magic and so far some areas reminds me of Dark Prophecy, Tower of The Triforce (before I started editing it) and Gates of Darkness (and old hack I never got around to finish).. I'll give this a good try when I get more time tonight or tommorow.. Sorry its taking so long to get the next update ready. I've been a little busy with Christmas and hav just needed to kick back and relax a bit. The next update will be fairly large though. I'm finishing the Captain's sprites off, I've modified a number of enemies, I've banged my head into my desk repeatedly over a number of unexpected glitches (eg, a number of AI changes, even though I've gone nowhere near that sstuff) though I have altered a few so I can use them. Okay,I downloaded the hack because I was bored,and I have to say,this hack needs some work.
One major glitch was that I could access this portal,and... 
It sent me to what I assume is a future dungeon,and there is no way out. 
The graphics here are glitched.  
And you can't enter these caves,also,I looked everywhere,and couldn't find a way into the fortress,how do you get in there? |

It took me awhile to find it but there is a bush with a secret hole underneath that leads to the fortress. I think it's pretty close to your house.
I have noticed a few errors with this hack as well, including the o One thing is that the first dark world level doesn't seem possible. I have looked EVERYWHERE and I cannot figure out how to beat it. I looked at the level in Hyrule Magic and I still couldn't find any possible way to beat it. I had to cheat to beat it. The secret crypt with the Cane of Byrna in a chest does not require a big key to open. I just waltzed right in and took it. In the Ganon's Tower-ish level (The o The most interesting thing happened when I was in the boat level in the dark world. I saw a chest sitting out in the open, opened it, got the map, it called me a "f***ing hacker", and crashed my game. From the looks of the text, it seems you meant to take out all of the maps in the game but you accidentally left that o However, this hack is pretty awesome for what you have so far. The water level in the light world and the boat level in the dark world were purely awesome. Great designs. There are a few more levels I just can't seem to find though. |

Thanks for the feedback. I'll give you a hint for the first dark world level:
Not everything is as it appears. Especially the arrowed floors. The big key door in the crypt was meant to do that. I wanted people to go hunting through the maze of death o In the Ganon's tower level (The Seige Tower), you need to think about that. You do have something else you can use to kill the biri that doesn't include medallions. The chest with the map is my fault. I'll hunt through it and remove it for the next update, which should be ready in a day or two. (Currently Febuary 5th.) The glitched graphics in the desert I have known about for a while. I just never really bothered to fix them yet. Don't know why, I'm just lazy. I plan o That portal was a debug thing I was using so I could move freely between worlds. If you can't find some dungeons, just go hunting. Rockvan doesn't have enemies (yet) so just go hunting. Trust me, my new water dungeon in the second world, the Floodgates, will be just as epic as the ship and the first water dungeon. Trust me o

Technically, both canes are both in large chests. Byrna happens to be in a chest you already have the key for.

No, that's not where the hole is. This probably doesn't help very much, but I remember it was in a solitary bush near a couple of trees.

The bush you want is directly north of that pit. I really should have made the guards point it out better.
I don't know if patching it to an already patched copy works. I believe it should, though. As for changes, they're all in the readme. I copy them here, though. Sprites and Graphics- -Finished Link's Graphics -Edited the Rockvan soldier's shield to look more realistic. -Added RK soldiers to replace Dark World cows. -New Rockvan dungeon walls! -Rockvan crossbowman now carries crossbow (though its hard to tell) -Added Garo (currently they aren't enemies) -New pendant designs. Overworld- -Moved Rebel HQ -Removed cave near witch's hut. Dungeons- -Fixed a glitch in my first dungeon, unfortunately by removing the Armos knights as the boss, as the shake o -Finished Rockvan floodgates level -More work o -More work o -Modified Sloop's cargo holds a bit. Thanks for the criticism and compliments, though I can tell you definetely aren't a hardcore uber-zelda player. Two tricks that you'll need are the boot and bomb jump. Bomb jumping involves planting a bomb and using the explosion to hop gaps. If you ever play Euclid and SePH's Parrallel Worlds hack, you better be good at it.
