Have you been really hot or really cold thinking the other one is better? Do you think it's true? You'd rather be sweating a lot than know everything is cold. Or is it that you can't take the heat?

I would rather be cold, because you can always put on more and get warm as opposed to being to hot and taking clothes off and still being too hot.

EDIT: Even if I were to be in my own home, would I not want to be too hot and thus being naked to compensate for the heat. Case in point: This guy.

I'm more for the cold. My reason: When it is hot, depending on how hot it is, it can be unbearable, and the air is too humid, which makes it very uncomfortable. However, when it is cold, you have cooler fresh air, and you can always layer up if you need to. If it is too hot in the house, all you have to do is open a window. If you want fresh air, all you have to do is open a window. If it is too cold, just layer up, get a blanket, or take a hot shower.

When it is hot, only your house can be good for you if you have an air conditioner. But when you go outside, you have to deal the intense heat and humidity. In the winter, both outside and inside your house can be cool if need be.

This is how I feel about that as well.

I like the cold in general compared to the heat, so I would be able to bear it more in comparison. Plus in the state I live in "cold" really doesn't make itself apparent except when extreme cold fronts come in anyway, so it'd be a big relief from the heat that's usually here at almost all times of the year.

I mean it's extremely hot as it is here, so if it was even hotter it really wouldn't make as much of a difference.

I prefer being too hot. They both suck, but being too cold actually kinda hurts. The only point where being too hot hurts is when it's absolutely ridiculous, which it doesn't tend to get here, but we do get rather intense cold for the majority of the year. I know you can layer up, but if you don't cover absolutely everything, the wind will just whip through and make that exposed part hurt and honestly, I hate wearing layers and layers of clothes.

Cold. I go tent camping in January, so it's the least one would expect from me.

I much prefer being cold for the same reasons Trel and the like have mentioned. Too bad for me I live in Florida... it's only just starting to change seasons for reals and be cold

I'd rather deal with extreme heat than the cold. I hate cold weather. But I guess that's because I've lived in S. Fla my entire life.

Entropy and thermodynamics in general has it that it is much easier to heat a subset of a cold environment than it is to cool down a subset of a hot environment relatively to the surroundings.

Thus, "too cold" seems like the technically more approachable problem.

*DUNLNLN DUNNLNLN* Bill Nye the Science Guy!

I prefer the cold. I get groggy and slow and lazy and bleh in the heat.

I wanted to sleep so much when we went to Mexico (Partially due to that massive sunburn and probably some sun stroke, but whatever)

I'm from the Philippines and have lived in the tropics most of my life. When I got stuck in the northern part of the US for a couple of years, it SUCKED.

I think that's enough to hint at what I prefer.

The cold actually bugs me quite a bit more then the heat, but since I can always bundle up, it gives me more control over my temperature when it's hot.

I strongly dislike heat. However, I really really like the cold. I recall once I went to Kentucky in the middle of the winter and it was about 30 degrees Fahrenheit. I had a short-sleeved shirt on and I thought it was nice weather.

So yeah, I'd rather be too cold than too hot.

I've just gone from 5 degrees in Frankfurt to a sweltering heatwave record of 39 degrees at home.

I'll take the cold for now.
