Hello ! This is my first post here and I want to say that I'm new to Lunar Magic. I've played a little with the overworld, with some tutorials I found I did something that look quite good, in my opinion. Buuut, there's a problemsthat just popped in my face while I was playing. I have made a route like this : http://img88.imageshack.us/i/route.png/ (couldn't do better) and when Mario go on this route, he get stuck four-five pixels before the goal. And when I try to come back down, he make some steps down and stop. There's still the name of the level but when I press A to enter it, the game take me to a bonus level. For the first level, the exit is on up and up is enabled. The second one has down and left enabled (there's another level to the left).

You need all the pieces to fit.

That's about the least helpful answer you could have given.

More specifically, see how the green path tiles don't line up? They need to in order for mario to be able to take paths correctly- so a turn like you're trying is impossible to make with SMW. You need to have one more Layer 1 (2 Layer 2) tile(s) between the level tiles, horizontally.

Oh, ok, thanks ! I thought I could make it like that, but it don't seem so. Oh well, I tried and I failed, that's how I learn.

Better to learn from your mistakes than not learn from your successes

You're right. I made the path a little longer, all the pieces fits and Mario don't get stuck ! I doesn't have anything to do with the overworld, but how can I make a mushroom block ? I've tried making a coin block with a mushroom on it, but Mario can take it just by touching the block. Can you help me, please ?

Dig around in the Extended Objects menu.

Or, even better, use the Direct Map16 Access to pick the tile you want to plant. You'll be using that window a LOT if you use any kind of custom tiles.

Or, even better than that, use the Help File.

Well, I'm new to Lunar Magic and I don't know how to access the Extended Objects or Direct Map16. And they don't explain how to in the help file.

It's pretty damn self-explanatory. There's a pulldown list directly above the object selection in the Objects window.

Seriously, a bit of poking around in the Objects window would have told you that.

Sorry, I just posted without checking. I never saw that little droplist, I'm really blind. Thanks, I think I can do something with that.
