Just like a majority of Capcom games this was a pain. However, quite a rewarding experience when you finally beat the thing. I have to say I particularly liked the ending. I'm hoping for follow-up game.

First one was better. Had more charm, I guess. But yeah, Justice for All is decent enough.

Far as I know, Capcom's going to be bringing Gyakuten Saiban 3 to the 'States as well, so no worries on your hopes for a followup

Yeah, Justice for All didn't have some of my favorite sound from the first one. Still, it was good to play for a while.

The third one is the best one, hands down. The second one is generally considered the worst one, but the fourth case more than makes up for it.

I went looking for it a few weeks ago, but nowhere had it Suprise.

Oh well... it really seems like all the good games are always sold out.

Just checked a store last week around here and they had about 7 copies of it, Xk.

Me thinks Phoenix Wright doesn't sell as well in Canada.

Then explain why my preorder was delayed due to too many orders Colin ?

Darkdata: OK, maybe it's just not as popular where I live.

And I couldn't vouch for how awesome the series is since I'm still working through a bunch of games. Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime is quite fun.

See that? I got it from pre-ordering/reserving Justice for All. This stylus [along with the OBJECTION! (in Kanji) screen cleaner] is truly awesome.

Oh God, that case was just... Wow. The trial was ntense and something happened that I always liked seeing...
Spoiler:
the prosecutor (despite having spoilers, I won't say who) and Phoenix teaming up.

I can't wait for Ace Attorney 3 (notice the emphasis on Ace Attorney now, because of a main character change in the 4th one) to come out. I already played the fan-translation of the first case.

Okay, I'll bite. I know this game is about law, but...

How... exactly does one play it? What is the premise?

If you're talking about physical gameplay, you can either use the touch screen or the buttons.

As for the game itself, there are two aspects to it: Investigation and Trial. You investigate the crime scene and interrogate witnesses, etc. (except in the first trial of every game) The trial is where you put all of your findings into action, and cross-examine the witnesses your interrogated earlier, which either lie on their own, or have a false testimony devised by the prosecution.

fun fun fun

Ah. Sounds fun.

It sure is, but there's one problem -- The Phoenix Wright/Ace Attorney games themselves don't last too long. Maybe just 10+ hours or so... So cherish it while you can.

I think they last more than long enough. Whenever I make progress in a case I always find that it's about three hours later than I expected it to be.
10 hours is maybe if you know what to do at every juncture.
