I made this as a theme song for my upcoming Super Metroid hack entitled "Metroid Grime: Temporus" in an attempt to capture some of the atmosphere for it. It's an original piece, not a remix of any Metroid music. I went for the same style of addicting, hypnotic melodies that some of its songs has, but spiced up with some (hopefully) nice beats and vaguely Prime-esque feel. Seeing as I'm not skilled enough to actually hack Super Metroid's music yet, this is as close as I can get for the time being. ;] The song itself is done, but I still need work more on the mastering. Thoughts? |
