Route 666 wasn't funny at all, it just SUCKED ZOMBIE BALLS. If you want a good Zombie movie, Shaun of the Dead is a great flick. ____________________ What FF7: Advent Children Character Are You? |

List of some good zombie movies:
Night of the Living Dead Dawn of the Dead Day of the Dead Night of the Living Dead Remake* Dawn of the Dead Remake* Zombie (itallian title Zombi 2) 28 Days Later Shaun of the Dead Creepshow (2 of the stories are zombie-related) List of some BAD zombie movies Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things The Dead Hate the Living Rock and Roll Zombies Two good movies to check out: The Abominable Dr. Phibes Dr. Phibes Rises Again *- I normally hate remakes, but the NotLD remake from the 90's pretty much follows the original almost exactly but with better effects, and I just really liked the new Dawn of the Dead. |

I remembered another one - Hostel. I went in for the heck of it, expecting a pointless nihilistic splatterfest. The movie was better than I expected, with some semblance of a plot and a satisfying revenge element, and it didn't take itself too seriously. I wouldn't call Hostel hilarious, but it was both funny and fun to watch.
Judging from its Tomatometer, The Reaping may wind up being a "so bad it's a Real Laff Riot(tm)" classic. The preview was painful enough by itself. |

Posted by Sgraff87Posted by Dr. Mario Wow, I completely didn't even think of some of those. I don't really concider Evil Dead or The Beyond zombie movies though. I have to say though, The Beyond is by far my favorite horror movie. I was just talking about why I don't concider The Beyond a Zombie movie the other day. It has zombies in it, but it has way too much other stuff going on for me to concider it to be just a zombie movie. |

Posted by Dr. Mario Lucio Fulci made some absolutely awesome horror movies. I would consider it a zombie movie since it came from a director who is famous for zombie movies, and it includes several zombies. It does have other things going on with it's dreamy atmosphere and all. BTW, I live near Pittsburgh as well. The zombie walks are sweet. |

Bad movies...
-House of the Dead Holy crap. The only bit of homage the director paid was just a few seconds of game footage at the beginning as a poor excuse. Not to mention it was simply COPIED and slapped onto the movie. Then there's the usual crap with teens played by people in their late 20's, one teen just happened to have $1500 dollars to spend on a boat ride to the "Biggest Rave" and guess what? No one was there! Knowing that they are trapped all alone, some dumbass says, "Let's have a beer!" and some idiotic girl decides it's okay to wonder alone, then I turned off the movie because I didn't want to lose my soul. |

Not just have a beer. Get drunk and have sex by the stage. Can you guess who dies first?
I didn't care too much for the Night of the Living Dead remake. It was too much happier, too much less creepy, and it actually lost some of its "scary" factor from the change to color. (Seriously, the scene with the zombies eating shifted from looking genuinely bloody/gory, to having what looked like zombies eating fried chicken or something.) |
