Hi all,
I'm having a little problem with editing NPCs in a room. In the lazy shell editor, everything looks normal but when I'm testing the hack, the room looks like this... Is there anyway I can solve this? Also, in the Lazy Shell editor, when you edit NPCs, what are those nine boxes that you can check that are called "Unknown Variables" for? Also, the room that I edited does have an action event that has Mario move and other things. ____________________ My Yoyogames.com Page http://www.yoyogames.com/members/PKGamer88 My Youtube Page http://www.youtube.com/user/PKGamer88 |

This happens when the VRAM partition does not match the current NPCs on the field.
VRAM partition acts like a directory of sprites. If you use a sprite not belonging to a particular partition, the images will look garbled. I have been having the same problem as Lazy Shell does not create new strings, but rather simply rearrange them. Look for a VRAM partition that corresponds to all of the sprites on the map. ____________________ SUPER MARIO RPG EXPANSION MY PERSONAL BLOG Got any SMRPG Hacking related question? astralgamma.nursing-resource.com |
