I don't really think there are any impure races. Granted that in today's society, corrupted genetic code is being integrated inwards. Example: A family line with known mental problems, in the wild would have normally been killed off or died from not being able to survive....but in todays world they are able to procreate, effectively poisoning the gene pool. Now some code changes aren't bad, and they make it easier for a species to survive, that's the code you want left in, and those are the people you want procreating.

Scottish all the way on my father's side.
English and German on mom's.

Nationality? American.

I can trace my line on Mom's side (English) back to like the 1400's, but on my Dad's side I lose the thread from before my great grandfather (who was apparently a bit of a scoundrel) came to Louisiana and became among other things a traveling musician on the riverboats. So when buying a kilt or whatnot I just go with Stewart of Appin tartan because it's more attractive than Royal Stewart. I dunno if I can really claim it. But historically, people wore what they could get and the colors didn't mean anything anyway.

American... both parents can trace ancestry back to settlers. It's kind of cool, my mom's maiden name is Davis and I'm directly related to Jefferson Davis (president of the Confederacy during the Civil War ).

I have a similar background, also American tracing back to early settlers, except my last name is Lincoln, and I am near directly related to Abraham Lincoln, president of the Union during the Civil War (he has no direct descendant).
