Joint hack by me and Omega45889 back in 2005.. I'm unsure how much of the game is done, but last I remember, overworlds were made by me mostly while Omega45889 and Dude Man contributed heavily to dungeons design. Was meant to be released a while back, entered private beta but never made it past those stages and almost fell into oblivion.

How is this supposed to work?
I apply the IPS patch and it just makes a clean un-modified zelda link to a past rom become corrupted. 
I tried it on: Snes 9x 1.43 says it's just fine and perfect, no problems Legend of Zelda, The - A Link to the Past (E) [!].smc Once i try the IPS ..it just makes the rom bad and doesn't load whatsoever. |

Don't you remember the SNES headers. Most of the SNES rom-hacks do not work if it don't have a header. I have the same problems when I re-download the Zelda 3 rom and I had to use SNESTool to add headers because the Zelda 3 (U) rom I downloaded don't have the header.
Anyway, I really like the beginning quests so far I played. |

For some reason Zelda doesn't seem to appear in the room she should be.. if you're using zsnes, try to open theses saves and it should skip the saving zelda intro thing allowing you to at least visit other places...

also a bug, if you make a save in the dark world the game crashes when you try to start from your last save |

There isn't enough text changed in Shards of Might to know where to go next usually. You just gotta look around and use all the items available to you to get to the next dungeon, much like the original. Iirc there's a dungeon that is just a boss fight with Mothula right near Sanctuary. The next actual dungeon after the first one is in the forest. Don't bother looking for anyone in particular, the NPCs have not been changed much, if at all. The main purpose of seeing Sahashrala in the original game was to get the Pegasus boots and get some map markings, but I'm pretty sure the map markings have not been changed for this hack yet. ____________________ Zelda Hacking Forum hobbies: delectatio morosa |

Thank You EDIT: SPOILERS!? got most of the items except Red Mail, Bombos and Quake Medallion I assume the 2 Staffs and Mirror don't exist ok so, I'm so close to the end and I'm missing just one crystal shard (can't find last dungeon) List of Dungeons 1. Lost Woods 2. the Water dungeon (where you get power glove) 3. next to Sanctuary 4. the one with Ape statues outside 5. Location 6 with Flute 6. Location 7 with Flute 7. missing... |

this is a spoiler! Anyways. Spoiler: There's a dungeon in the woods that has both staffs in it. Also, how did you beat the dungeon with the Ape statues outside? I figured I had to use the cane of somaria to get to the boss but apparently you found another way? I don't remember checking if there was a statue in that room to put on the trigger.
