If there's anything you can point out that would actually be useful, I probably could backport the feature in question in no time given that their source is available online. Otherwise, it's not even the case that Kafuka's board2 is a strict feature superset of this one - things were added here and there on our end after the split too. You are not going to persuade me to put up with an unfamiliar codebase people of dubious competence levels messed with by just repeating something that amounts to "It's better! I don't know how, but your life, too, would improve if only you accepted Jesusboard2 as your lord and savior!".

I can't remember most of the features but it has more security against ad bots and is generally easier to manage bans and users.

Because you know if I've installed the recent version of abII.

Is there a way you could find this version "Acmlmboard 2.1+2δ" and test it offline and compare it against kafuka's version ?
Also if mister ~savior~ thinks his board can endure anything with php exploits and whatever may be wrong here.
I suggest we have it fully tested and see if it holds up to his claims for not needing a new version or total repatching.

I honestly think it's a little silly that you are imploring me to take your non-specific word over my objections, regarding something you say yourself you can't remember most of, regarding two pieces of software I actually wrote a significant chunk of...

Whenever I paste url web addresses elsewhere on forums, half of them enable the web address into a hyperlink.
Can you do that so it would be convient for others who are in a hurry or on mobile devices and don't have time to put http://www.acme.com

Also since we have a public uploader why not make a link for it when we are creating post add .zip icon for easy linkage ?

Can you please fix your problem with bold, italic, strike through tags ?
When ever I do this it leaves small gap in between the code and text causing it to go into the wrong areas and causing problems.
Been that way for years and I'm surprised someone hasn't mentioned that or you were aware of it and don't fix it.

We have Christmas, easter-spring and summer time, why not atleast apply themes to the place to brighten it up ?
If you look at kafuka they have theme to celebrate or specify the holidays.

Could you also remove landfill sub-forum from public viewing ?
Check out kafuka, jul and smwcentral, they have theirs removed from general public viewing.
It would also help speed up your forum, so given that I like to see what you say.
Also any others viewing this chime in, since blackhole wants some valid requests, ideas and direct concerns.

Try adding some sort of proxy protection like I did with my own board, it should stop reregs and spammers somewhat.

I used htaccess code for basic level proxy protection, which was enough to stop the M spammer from attacking the site.

Whenever you say that, I really don't believe you or someone is out there to get you.
If they go by a normal user name and people may know them it would be good to validate them as a problem.

It sounds like your hiding more then what your hinting around by saying that.
I checked your board, your registration is about the same as here.
Care to elaborate more of the proxy protection you have ?

I heard about minecrafter not too long ago, but whatever beef he has with you I'll leave it in your hands. :/
Also the code looks good, my concern is how many proxy ip addresses and proxy server sites can it handle ?
Also if you want to add bit more power behind that you may want to look into reverse ip dns lookup.

I know of one site that does that and they're quite good at it seing as they had fake account regisrations and bots come in.

Moroncrafter couldn't operate such an attack, and the only reason he'd want to get up at 2am is to nick all the food or something. He doesn't even know what a useragent is and yet this one was spoofing the same as SquidEmpress's one, so it isn't him.

Most of the things he knows about forums are what I already mentioned to him though.

Speaking of morons, Mega-Mario signed up and successfully logged into my account, but didn't do anything to it. He probably found the board link through where you just posted it.

If thats the case leave the man alone, besides that main problem comes right back to staple butter.
Screwing over squiddy and stirring up a problem behind the scenes.
That and he has a real aura against bisexual people and transgender people.
Despite what squiddy may do in her own life she will need real help to get her life back on track.
Thats her private issues to deal with not staples to come crashing down on her.
Stalking or sending people to stalk from his domain or getting others in the mix to do damage and stir up more shit.
I talked to squiddy and I believe her based on the posts between her and staples and knowing staples directly.
The only way that problem will fully stop if all people involved in it just drop it, move on peacefully and get emuz to put a halt to it.

With that said, it'll be up to you guys to decide to keep it going or finally put an end to it on your own turfs.
