Oh, no more Botwatch on 'Active users'.
I kinda loved that feature, but yeah, it also gave out our IP adresses.

@Yushe | Yeah, it happens sometimes. The &Bsnp or whatever is my favourite forum bug or whatever, when an user is banned and their names are replaced with this.

It's because of those spammers who get nuked and then their posts deleted from long ago.

Now they resort to making new threads instead

It's only possible to catch them if they're logging in or posting without being logged in.

It should be limited to locals only that can see IPs on that page.

(Also, today - 7-11-15 - Acmlm has been offline for 1300 days exactly. How sad.)

I haven't used Windows 10 and I have no reason to try it, but just from a quick minute search, there are articles that are both in favor of and against upgrading to Windows 10.

Generally, you just have to ask yourself what you use your current computer for, and what you would want to be able to do.

Perhaps this isn't necessarily the best place to ask such a question, either. Maybe just do some research for others' opinions and system specifications and capabilities.

Move to Linux.

Wine is a pain in the arse and some things don't work in it but whatever, quite a few indie devs do develop for Linux (and it's less system resource hungry I think) so I suggest so.

Ubuntu is based off Debian, the former is better for Linux newbies and the latter is better for more experienced people, or ones that want to run their own server in particular.

Perhaps you should start a page about getting people to develop more software for linux or something, and to support it, if you like it.

What's wrong with Windows?

I've seen Windows 10 and we use 8.1 at school, I'd throw 'em under a bus if I could, the pair are bad OS's.

8.1 is based off Vista (NT 6) but Vista's a GOOD OS (as is Win7, but I prefer Vista), 8 isn't.

Don't forget how fucked up Windows 10 is with updates.

Just use Linux. However it may be an arse to actually do rom hacking on it, in which I recommend anything before Windows 8.0 (XP, Vista or 7).

I dare you to find a way to disable that in windows 10, it can be easily done just like an 8.
Hell the answer might be right under your nose in the taskbar area. :|

I don't suggest moving to linux for everything, if you understand dual booting or virtual box.
You could either one as the main os and the other for secondary hand use work.

@Termin, you be a good boy and keep using 8 and xp.
I never been more than happy to stear clear of 8.1 this july.
So many registry fuck ups and other nonsense on microsofts part its not even funny.
Least I didn't pay full price for 8 professional at launch.

XP and vista, windows 8 is shit.

You can only disable NSA helpers (spying) in enterprise editions I think (Cortana and other crap).

Actually cortana isn't as threatning as it seems to be or privacy invading everyone makes it out to be.

^^Read this carefully before replying again. :/

Heres a thought for you and anyone else reading in the future, if you don't want your business or private information on the net.
Don't put it out there, not even through windows phone, iphone, android or any based computer.

If you see out there on the net and you know you didn't put it there, track down the people who did.
Ask them nicely to take it down, if they say no, ask them again, if they refuse start looking into legal help.
Make sure to have any information, to backup whatever you may say or they might say.
