Verizon was supposed to have activated the internet for my roommate and I today at 6:00... It didn't happen, and both of us are very pissed off. The tech guy said they would get a hold of us by Friday, if they don't, we're raising hell.

Cox Internet is pretty good. I rarely have technical issues, so I don't usually have to deal with Customer Service. And when I do, they're usually pretty good.

They don't cap my download quota, just my bandwidth at 15MB/sec and upload at 3MB/sec. I pay $60 per month for that. I've got a decent router and a good modem, so I rarely disconnect. (If you see me in IRC disconnecting, it's mostly because I'm on pay-as-you-go power and the bill hasn't been paid by my roommate, or I improperly close out IRC.)

Good experiences nonetheless.

Trapster: Yes, you should save up and plan a trip out there. Truly amazing. You will not regret passing on computer parts/gadgets in favor of a trip to the Grand Canyon.

The JPEG compression shows up really badly, though. Especially around the cursive text and just below it.

I suppose I could trim the minimum height a little. Probably 150 pixels or so. I don't really like the pink either, so I'll be changing it up pretty soon. Thing is, I don't have any ideas for what to theme it on. Any suggestions would help! (Cave Story?)

Speaking of layouts, I'm having a little bit of fun with mine, but I'm considering replacing it entirely...

I still reckon that layout's a bit... pink at the top.

EDIT: It's a proof of concept, of course, the name color. If I were to go screwing with my sidebar as KP9000 has done his, I might decide to change my name color to something that would go with the sidebar color.

EDIT TWO: Art in progress. Three guesses as to who this is going to be. Oh, and it's very basic right at the moment. It's like pre-WIP.

The sidebar editing is not new. It was possible to do way back in the day. Now, the custom title field code has been changed in a way that nobody can do this. Admins have a way around this, though.

I was thinking of redoing the layout, but I'm not sure if I want to continue on with the stars/sky theme. I might, but if anything I'd want to go for something darker.

GreyMario: Looks good, but I think I like the pixel art better. I prefer the style you have going on with that. However, it's a work in progress, so let's see if I change my mind when you're close to completion.

I think I could probably figure out some way somehow. Never underestimate the power of CSS...

Lemme upload what I got done at 1:30 AM this morning. It's still a basic shape, and the hands look weird because I never did any real work on them, but it at least reveals a bit more. And it reveals my lack of artistic talent.

I honestly really hate KP's layout's header. It was way better before, when it wasn't massive bright pink and it had a more subtle flavor. The rest of the layout is pretty cool, though. It's very simple, though, without a lot of the flavor the blackhole's has (and, by extension, mine has. As I really just stole blackhole's.)
