I use black on white background while text-editing. But for some reason it bugs me on websites.

Maybe I should try to invert the color on my IDE and text editors.

White on dark, mofos.

Ain't nothing more easier on the eyes than white on dark.

And easy on the eyes is key for anyone who doesn't want headaches.

I use black-background colour schemes in vim (smaller-scale text editing and coding, like so) and white-background colour schemes in codeblocks and MSVC++ (when I use it) (larger-scale coding), and it would seem unnatural to me to change either.

Might really be just a habit thing, or perhaps that IDEs have lots of dark-on-bright UI elements that aren't easily inverted.

Oh yeah codeblocks. I never started to use that IDE properly, but it looked like it would been a nice alternative.

Some hands-on journalism from the evacuated zone around Fukushima #1

To put things into perspective, he didn't have that much of a reason to run away in the end; 100µSv/h is still only roughly three times more than the natural background radiation in those places on earth where it is the highest (people do live there year round all right), according to numbers on Wikipedia.

Is a nice graph to put things into perspective too.

Seeing those dogs is making me little uneasy, as I wonder who left them behind, if their owners are even alive.

Super Meat Boy lampooned on that, with one of the bosses being made out of corpses from your failed attempts.

(For anyone who hadn't played the game. It's a really hard game. You die, a lot.)

Inquiry:

What forum would I post in if I wanted to announce a work for RM2K3?

If I were you I would just put it in programming. It's really the closest thing to it, considering it's not even related to ROMS. If that's wrong, one of the mods will likely move it where it's appropriate.

>One of the mods.

Since I stepped down as a mod, the only one with mod power (aside from our administrative trio) is Kawa.

Does anyone think I can find a non-spammy way to reach my 2000th post, either on or before, my 2-year membership anniversary?

Only 110 posts and about two and a half months away.

I would go for gaming, actually... not sure if I'd call RM2k3 programming.

Depends on how active the Story Forum, your ask thread, and the general board posting rate is.

70 days to make 110 posts? Not too hard.

Reply to everything, but that's obvious.
I wonder why you even want to.
