Well, something along the lines of "another year over and I still didn't get anywhere", perhaps...
I echo this confession. That's going to change this year for me, I think.

And this thread just hit 1000 posts!'

I only played the very first Golden Sun. JRPG's dosen't appeal to me much, although I do remember that Golden sun was unusually text-heavy even for a RPG game.

Extremely.

Is there a kind of RPG you do like? Not to start an argument or anything, but I've recently realized that the term "JRPG" is completely ridiculous (not to mention I was always curious why this label sprang up in the last five years when some of these games are 20-30 years of age). See this video and its second part for the whole story.

The few western RPGs I know of differ from their Eastern counterparts either by trying to be darker and edgier (more club-wielding, grunting, manly tauren warchiefs) or extreme sandboxing as found in Morrowind...

The general difference between JRPG's and "western RPG" style games is that JRPG tend to be way more storydriven, but also exaggeratedly linear both for good and bad.

By contrast I find some western RPG's to be too open... I hate being stuck in the middle of the nowhere and having no idea wtf I'm supposed to do. Not that I mind extreme sandboxing at times (see Dwarf Fortress).

I figure it would be stupid to let those RNG manipulated crafts go to waste.

Does it work the same way like in the GBA? Like, 2 enemy method = 6 attack psynergies and then djinn unleash?

I tried this method on a Salamander and I did get an item the two times in a row I tested it. The only problem is that the items were different.

No. I used the other method.

1. Save before giving the material.

2. Hard reset the game (reboot the system)

3. Watch the intensity of "Press Start/Touch Screen"

4. Advance at different times.

5. Get different generations based on your timing.

Example: Give an Orihalcon when it was at its brightest, and you're nearly guaranteed Excalibur.

Maybe you should change to a more lively color than grey.

So, for those who haven't noticed yet, there now is, per request, a link to the radio among the page header links.

One alternative to the present way of doing it would be actually linking to a page that has a Java applet or whatever playing from the radio. Which one do you think is better?

Personally I do not use the radio, but I think the most inclusive option would be to open the java applet, then within the applet have a link to download the m3u.

Why not a link to both with some icon to portay the alternative choice?

Normally when I click on a youtube link and see Kanji, I just close the video. But I decided to listen to that anyway and I'm glad I did. That meshes really well..

why

Cause this kid is usually the one posting videos, and things like this are kind of a waste of my time:
