Just got done with Anime Club. No one showed so I hung with, like, the only good friend who was there the entire time. T'was fun. Except now I gotta show my shitty C grades to my parents. Not fun.

Oh, and that Anglefage guy made his own quote thing? Funny story about that, I actually DID that once. I had NO idea how to actually do it, so I made my own out of ____'s and |'s.

So yeah, I'm working with Excel right now and having trouble trying to figure out how to chart:

- three distances traveled, four times, as per an object rolling off four different points on a ramp
- an average of the four sets of three distances traveled
- three times spent traveling, four times, as above
- an average, as above

I'm thinking bar chart for distance, scatter for distance average, time, and time average. And it's most likely not the correct answer.

God so confusing ARGH

Let this be a lesson to never graph four sets of related data on one chart... five different times to make five different charts.

For people that only live in the United States.

On Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 2 a.m., Daylight Saving Time begins in the United States.

Every Spring we move our clocks one hour ahead and "lose" an hour during the night and each Fall we move our clocks back one hour and "gain" an extra hour. But Daylight Saving Time (and not Daylight Savings Time with an "s") wasn't just created to confuse our schedules.

The phrase "Spring forward, Fall back" helps people remember how Daylight Saving Time affects their clocks. At 2 a.m. on the second Sunday in March, we set our clocks forward one hour ahead of Standard Time ("Spring forward"). We "Fall back" at 2 a.m. on the first Sunday in November by setting our clock back one hour and thus returning to Standard Time.

Sigh, why is 20x.cc's FTP being so lame and disappearing and coming back randomly?

That "homepage" of mine desperately needs more content.

The aneurism comes when I remember spotting some advertisement video where they actually had Opera Minis driving down the street.

Edit: also, if "everyone else just thinks it looks fucking stupid", how come there's Firefox and Chrome addons to add bits from Opera, such as the Speed Dial? Not to incite a riot but seriously, think about that for a moment.

LL

The one about IE is so right.
For the one about Firefox, did you know the addons are optional, hence their name?
The one about Chrome is just funny as hell.

For those who want the look of Opera without all the speed.

This.

Apparently the person that made that picture thought all the addons were obligatory.

I see. Celebrating Stark's return. We are lucky that it was Stark, would you imagine "Neutron kurosakinarutos"?

I only really depend on two addons. NoScript and LittleFox. Both not being in default Firefox is understandable as NoScript would be annoying for the average user, and Littlefox is about trading looks for efficiency (more compact layout).

I actually consider it a bad idea to include everything imaginable in a browser by default, both Mozilla (to a certain extent) and Google (to a extreme extent) seems to agree with me. The "Mozilla application suit" before Firefox included a tonnes of features, but most didn't care for Mozilla until they decided to make a major overhaul with a browser called Phoenix.

I got involved in a car accident today. Scary stuff. The backend of my car got clipped as I was turning a corner, and I spun out across the street, and the other side of my car smashed a fire hydrant. My car still runs lovely though, the frame just needs to be bent away from the tires now. The guy that hit me totally borked up his rig though. No injuries either, just a ton of damage.

Wow! I feel happy you weren't hurt in that accident.
Also that reminded me that for some reason car accidents where a car smashes a fire hydrant happen a lot in movies.

It is good for you that you didn't forget the # before the 2.
Joke aside, I'm happy for you. It'll sure take me a good while to get so much posts.

I'd drive a car that was smashed as long as it ran... mine just crapped out on me today. Engine failure...

Oh yeah I have no problem with that. Funny thing is though I'd only had the car for a week, it was replacing my last car of the same year and model, which got hit by a bus. fml.
