Stufid, Maybe Mega Man (Color Blue not Monochrome) and Roll Chan (Zynk's Classic? or Rockman 2007 Mobile?) for Darkwing Duck.

Two Hacks of Darkwing Duck Title called "Mega Man: Return to St. Canard" and "Roll Chan: Return to St. Canard",

I hope you don't beat me to it! If I were going to design the perfect Mega Man using full colors and not monochrome colors like the pirate version. I would love to see you attempt. Not to mention to test out the bugs.

Shantae's sprite is larger than Darkwing Duck's original sprite size. Without enabling 8 sprites per scanline on an emulator, expect some flickering for other sprites.

I´m making the RockMan 2 (JP) Hack called RockMan 2 - Hero Mode.

Hero Mode = tribute to Hero Mode in Mega Man 9 and 10.

But.... the game has 85% done (Willy Stage 2, 3 and 4 for finalize).

I need screen tittle editor and enemy editor for reajusting Weapon Weak of 8 Robot Masters (No MetalMan vs Weakened Metal Blade).

Please, someome could pass me the link these editors?

If the editors out there don't allow you to edit the titlescreen, you'll have to do it yourself by hand. But editing the titlescreen in Megaman 2 is pretty easy, since the whole titlescreen is made up of bytes that represent the 8x8 tiles. So I would imagine it's the same deal with Rockman 2. All you have to do is search for them and edit them.

There are so many editors today that I can't keep up with them all. But if you are looking for editors, RHDN and Zophar's Domain are just two of the places you can check. I don't remember if Visine, the DOS editor, allows you to edit the titlescreen, and if it does, I don't know if it supports the Japanese version, Rockman 2. You'll have to check these editors for yourself. But as I said, it's pretty easy to edit the titlescreen by hand in Megaman 2.

As for the weapon weaknesses of the 8 robot masters, I don't remember if Visine allowed you to edit these values, and if it did, I don't know if supported the Japanese version. Again, you'll have to check the editors out for yourself. But if the editors don't help you, you'll just have to search for the bytes that correspond to them. It could be a table somewhere, since I know that is how Megaman 4 works with the enemies. Just open FCEUXD and use the trace and code/data logger and do some searching in the hex editor. Create a savestate before the boss fight and test the weapons.

These two things should be pretty easy to do.

if not limit tiles of paired, Coordinate ID with Tile Count 0? is Unknown?

This is one of my recent SMB3-SMAS projects and is adding the 8th Koopa Kid. It's been done for a week and a half with my trusted programming skills I already learned. I took my time developing it and it is currently play-tested to make sure the other 7 Koopa Kids don't have buggy effects.

I am going to release it soon but expect one coming for SMAS+World and Super Mario Collection ROMs as well but not if anyone going to use those roms anyway.

You gave up too easily and idk if there's freespace available. Darkwing Duck uses a similar frame style as Mega Man IV's.

I don't know about doing the NES one yet but I know for a fact the data is found in Prg10 on the NES disassembly file. The SNES version has more space than the NES and the graphic loads are completely different.

I do not know, how difficult it will be, but if the SMB3 coding in Allstars is identical with the NES version, it could make things easier.

The thing is that the author who made Remix did so through assembly files. AFAIK, there are no Super Mario Allstars fully labeled .asm files. Doing it manually (through hex editing) would mean changing a bunch of pointers and absolute addressing. It is simply not practical without source. Also SMAS seems to utilize the 65c816's newer opcodes. Such as PHX, STZ etc. Meaning that coding is different. (So where for example a TXA PHA would occur on the NES you'd see a PHX in place on SNES; and likewise PLA TAX would be PHX or even using register Y. I believe ARR is also official, too.) Another thing is that registers and Memory are mapped differently on the SNES' processor. --ShaneM, the Master of ASM

So why not use Virtual machine and use windows xp iso ?

If you don't know where to find the iso I'll upload it with media fire account if you are serious enough to use visine.

All I ask is you change that title graphic to a better orange, yellow hue.
Old colors with new hacks doesn't sit well with me lately. :|

How hard is it to edit the titlescreen by yourself? The titlescreen for Rockman 2 is not compressed; the texts can be easily be added by using a hex editor. Try WindHex32.

Hi guys, thought I'd just drop in here; I'd put it in the Mega Man thread, but I don't really feel it's big enough to go in there until I get more done.

Mega Man 4 hack I'm sort of tinkering around with. I'm no good with ASM so I don't plan to do anything tricky, but at the very least I want to replace graphics, music, level design, etc. I've already replaced a single song and have hope to really iron this out when I get more time this summer.

For now, here's a shot of Wily 2:



Sprites come from Mega Man V GB and an old game called Legendary Wings for the NES. I might replace them with slightly edited versions later, but I think they'll do for now. The pink stuff actually has a slight palette animation ingame, but w/e :p

The one song I've imported so far.... It's from Gradius 3!

If thats the case can you take mega arm and apply it to your hack as a replacement to the mega buster ?
His arm doesn't need to grab any items but something different than big ol plasma shots.
