Posted by VanyaPosted by Googie Okay I'm still working on this, some of CNV's tiles can't fit in RT's tiles because the sprites in RT are too small, so I'm making the best of the limitations and making my own graphics even if to me they suck. I got the jump up graphics done & the going in and out of the door graphics done, it looks like CNV hero is spinning. The only thing I'll probably need help with is the graphics going up and down the stairs. I'll put up a video soon on You Tube soon when I get more done. ____________________ My Linktree |

I've been tinkering around more with MM2's sound engine. This time I ported over every track from MM1's to MM2's, and put every single song & sound effect in the order of Mega Man 3's NSF.
It's all thanks to rock5easily's Rockman 2 NSF Editor which made it possible to extract and rearrange the order of all songs/sfx in a Mega Man 2 NSF. Also, I thank Bisqwit for his Mega Man Sound Disassembly, because it was really useful for porting over the MM1 songs. |

Posted by KCEXE Okay, now that sounds interesting. Downloaded it. Hopefully, someone will make such a thing for other MegaMan games as well...I have composed some songs, but they are very often longer than the original... |

Posted by gridatttackI gotta be honest with you, I simply LOVE the new purple sky palette! It reminds me of a beautiful summer sunset! Posted by KCEXEVery interesting. I also love how those hopping robots can get stuck in between the structures, haha. ____________________ My YouTube Channel |

New theme replacing Bowser castle:
Jungle Ruins. Features poison water instead of lava Posted by RetroRain Yup! I love sunsets in the beach. I noted most of the ones people seem to take photo of is when the sky is golden/orange. I actually like more the purple one. Heres the currently new track palette. Thanks to Matrizzle, the waves colors are changed, so now everything looks like in sunset: ____________________ |

Posted by RetroRain No they're ripped, the castle brick graphics is from the game 8 eyes, the others are from games I can remember. But thanks! gridatttack: That's a cool course you made, I'll keep on eye out for your SMK hack. Are designing tracks easy? ____________________ My Linktree |

Posted by GoogieThanks! I dont know, but from my experience, it depends on how much effort you want to put in. Ill try to explain it with abit more detail here Lets use for example this track: http://youtu.be/ORjQKoO2-94 I dont know the background on how this track was made, but it looks it was put up somewhat quickly. The main idea of the racing part looks pretty good (it has the feel of a donut plains track). So mainly, if you can think of ways to make your custom tracks unique, you shouldn't have a problem. However, the tile placement leaves much to be desired. Theres also a wall missing near the bridge that allows you to skip 1/5 of the track. Basically, its not polished up. So in the end, it takes a bit of dedication to polish up a track, but one can whip up a nice track design and work for there. Take for example. That koopa beach 1 is one of my earliest tracks ever (back in 2010) Its based on a concept track from MK courses I used to draw when I was little. In a matter of fact, at first, it was simply copy paste from certain parts of the original KB1 (because tiling up koopa beach tracks is the hardest thing to do) Eventually, the first layout eventually evolved to be more polished; try too make it look less than parts copy pasted, fix the cut looking tiles of the wave animation, add the jumpers to ease things since you drive slower on water...; Also, replaying the track several times helps to polish things up. tl;dr, yeah designing tracks its easy, what is harder to do is make a polished track. ____________________ |

Alright cool, thanks for the heads up! I've been considering getting into some SNES hacking or even GBA hacking. We'll see what happens... ____________________ My Linktree |

Posted by GoogieYeah. I really want to hack Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest. People either love the game, or hate it, but it was my first RPG growing up, and I actually am quite fond of it. ____________________ My YouTube Channel |

Posted by dirtbag Thanks man, I really appreciate that. I'm gonna take a look at Epic Edit this weekend. Posted by RetroRain There's a hack at RHDN that makes the game more challenging. You can snag it here, I personally like the game. I always wanted to hack FF1, a friend helped me with an ASM that when you hold down the B button you run fast. ____________________ My Linktree |

Yeah I downloaded it the other day. I haven't played it yet though. Most of the hacks I've seen for it are simply stats/difficulty adjustments, but I have yet to see level/palette hacks and other ASM hacks for it. I actually attempted to hack this game back when I first started in the ROM hacking scene, but at the time I didn't have much experience, especially with the Super NES. I would love to see a full hack of that game! ____________________ My YouTube Channel |

Just something I made for the hell of it. Took 2 weeks to make in Game Maker. It's called "Something Zelda." Not sure if I will go much further with it or not, despite the fact that I have a whole list of ideas which I can implement into it.
