So I might be doing a fan edit to combine Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness into one clear concise film as an exercise in both film editing and looking at films objectively (The Evil Dead series is one a particularly like so cutting stuff out of it is going to be a bit of a test), also I'm doing it to get a little more used to Adobe Premiere Pro. One of the other goals of the project will be to make it more of a direct sequel to the first Evil Dead, picking up right where the final film left off.
On that note, if you're worried about spoilers for a film that's around 30 years old, then you shouldn't watch this. I made a two minute intro to replace the first 10 minutes of Evil Dead 2 that recaps the events of the first film. Sources I used are clips from the Book of the Dead edition of Evil Dead, the alternate opening of Army of Darkness, and the Opening title from Evil Dead 2. |
