haha while that's true, there's been a few things being pretty stressful, like various things not working, my brother sorting out his college stuff, his girlfriend being at our house every single day and almost never leaving, which is made worse by her near constant bitching and complaining.

my family all just needed an escape from everything, and it was a fun trip. Went to the Bahamas. Freeport (more of a "rest stop" than a real port, and only one or two shops selling things not made in China) and Nassau (much more fun. got a cool t-shirt, ate at the Hard Rock, and wandered around looking at the various shops).

Early birthday greetings from me too.

On that matter, I always wondered how steady those cruise ships are. While I don't have much problems with seasickness, I can imagine spending multiple days on them without an option of escape would be rather unpleasant for anyone who does if they re anything like lesser ships.

Larger the ship, the more steady they tend to be in my experience.

I never gotten seasick from a larger ships, but small passenger ferries (sometimes called sea-buses) and personal boats I have gotten seasick from.

thanks for the birthday wishes and such! it was great!

and yeah, Ailure, this thing was big enough that you didn't really feel it moving, but when you go to bed (at least for me), it slightly felt like you were getting rocked, which helped me sleep
