Umm, for some reason, FireFox won't let me copy anything. Does anybody know why?

Restart it. Does it still happen? Can you copy in other programs?

Restarting it doesn't work. Nope. I tried copying a URL so I can make a link, but nothing appears.

Wouldn't this go under computing?

Also, what extensions do you use? And in what way are you trying to copy stuff? And what version of Firefox?

How else can you copy stuff? I higlighted the text I needed and I right-clicked and clicked on "Copy".

The newest one; 2. 0. 0. 2

Some people press ctrl+c instead you know after marking text.

Did you check the installed extensions?

Check to see what else is in the clipboard. Open Notepad/Paint, try pasting.

Try copying something in another program.

That doesn't work either .

All that appears is the URL of one of my PhotoBucket pictures, since PhotoBucket automatically copies it for you.

Try re-installing Firefox if the problem persists.

Help threads aren't for joking around in.

And you hadn't listed installed extensions. :/

It probably wasn't joking, it was probably just bashing Firefox.

He also didn't try copying something from another program. If that fails, I'd reccomend uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, as Nyletak mentioned.

Wait, what the fuck? Firefox allows webpages to fuck with your clipboard?

What the hell... Uninstall that piece of garbage already.

You know my recommendations but if you must, just reinstall that stupid thing.

Or hell, better, just restart.

Viewing the source, all it does is make a SWF file do it. So I assume it would work on Opera too, but I can't confirm this as I don't have Opera.

It would be nice if threads like this one wouldn't derail into yet another lame browser war argument.

God damn, can we please go two weeks without being retarded about web browsers? That's all I ask, two fucking weeks. Is that so goddamn difficult? And yes, I'd be just as bitchy if you were arguing about IE or Opera, even though I don't use them, because I'm sick of seeing the same bullshit over and over everywhere I fucking go.

Now, I'm still using 1.5.0.10, and I'm not having this problem. Maybe one of the newer versions got screwed up, or as Ailure keeps suggesting and you keep not responding to, it might be an extention issue.
