So i'm sure you've all heard of this, like everything else I mention to the board.
It's a story of a 15-year-old boy who wants to be the guy. He ventures through MANY different scenes and games to get there. This is the ultimate source for nostalgia but also for broken keyboards. IT IS VERY HARD. But for some reason i'm not getting angry at all. Spoiler:

I didn't bother with this game the last time it was around - just listening to the tortured screams of everyone on IRC was enough to emulate the experience. The Let's Plays for it were sure fun to watch though. |

Stark (semi-)cheated though, he opened two instances of the game, played through an area over and over (and over...) again on one of them (most probably on normal mode, for the added savepoints to practice with), and then once he had spend hours memorizing when to make what move, he would go through it on the impossible mode window; he did this until he beat it, basically. ____________________ |

Is Impossible without save points? I can't imagine going through it all without losing once!

I remember seeing something in another forum that someone was playing through on impossible, got to The Guy, and just as he was about to beat it, guess what, he did something stupid and died.
Need I say more? Oh yeah, he didn't do the save glitch with the enemy save point (when you defeat it, for 1 frame a save point appears). ____________________ |

I've never heard of it until now actually. Well, I downloaded it, started playing on Hard Mode, and while it is frustrating, i do not get mad at it. I played for quite a while actually, just figuring out how to get past the first few screens.  I'm at the screen with the bullets now... It's weird though, because as I was testing a level for my hack the very same day and trying to run through the whole level to get to the end I had just added, it was really pissing me off that I kept dying of dumb shit in my rush to get there asap. I'll probably never invest as much time as it takes to beat it, but it's still interesting and good masochistic fun for people who like that sort of thing.____________________

While I never really got that far in this game (the first boss I found was B/W/W, and I couldn't beat Wily), I found this game pretty entertaining. I came up to the dragon from Megaman II and I just simple got too busy and forgot to actually play the game.
