I think my internet provider did something stupid. Because now the only way for everyone in my area to access web pages, is though the IP address, or by using a proxy. Like what I am doing now. (Well technically I am going though two proxies, one to get to a proxy site that supports acmlm.no-ip.org, and the other to use the board)

I can't even go on irc, and I have tryed a few online java clients.. none work.
Got a java irc client working.

Blarg, what I want to know is how this could of happened. So I guess I will have to spend today... or more through proxies. Oh.. joy.

What is worse is, this just happened about 15 minuets ago. I am not a happy camper.

Edit: Found a better starting proxy, now I only have to jump though one hoop.

Wow. You should definitely call at them and bitch. If they don't fix it, then switch. This is really unacceptable.

Would if I could, however it's the only net access out here. However, I don't have to yell at them, those are other people in the community who are barking at them right now. Yay for people who talk to much!

It's fixed! Yay!

Chances are, you need to find another DNS server that isn't so damn sporadic.

BMF probably knows a good free one.

Indeed I do.

The "basic" service works fine, but if you don't want the extra features enabled (phishing protection, typo correction, search page for DNS errors), you'll have to register your IP address with them. You almost certainly have a dynamic IP address, though, in which case you'd also need to install a small background service that sends them your current address.

I just enabled them to check it out. The fixing typos thing is pretty nice. I hate it when I accidentally type "xom" or just "co".
