EDIT: So yeah, I got it. Been playing it for a little while..Hard, but fun.

This thread can now be a, umm.. Discussion for it.

To get the original:
Download zsnes or snes9x or some other SNES emulator
Download Chrono Trigger (Just use google, you probably can't ask where to get it, here.)

As for getting the DS version, I personally wouldn't. It's a good game, but the port as far as I can tell didn't add a whole lot. I imagine the DS port does better to get less computer literate people (those who can't use emulators) in to the series. :p

I belive it have the movies from the Playstation version but without the general slowness from the CD. And there's a extra dungeon. Probably wouldn't hurt to get it if you hadn't played the original.

My sister have the game, but I hadn't got to try out this remake yet.

I'm on a new game + on this game. Stopped playing since I wanted to play other stuff too but I really like this game. Great music, gameplay and whatnot.

Lavos is tied for my favorite boss with Dark Falz and Olga Flow. The fight is Epic wrapped in incredible smothered with amazing sauce.

I only bought CTDS because my old SNES copy was stolen circa 2001. To be honest the extras did not really impress me all that much, but I'd say it was better than adding nothing. The fact that they didn't remangle and retell the core story pleased me, as some remakes have a tendency to do that.

World Revolution is awesomepic

You notice something? Lavos core looks like a giant, walking chicken. Feet are webbed-ish, hands are slightly wing-ish, and his torso reminds me of a chicken. O_o

I knew that chickens would one day control the world. X_X
