Every time it attempts to decompress stuff, an error appears.

The possible problems i can think of is...
It's incompatible with x64 systems
It's got compatibility issuesm with Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
Every download is broken

Sorry if it took you dial-ups 400 hours to load a thread like this.
I'm not using vista, I'm using Windows XP x64 SP2 with a silver color scheme (All the morons get it mixed up with vista) I replaced the compress DLL because i thought it was broken.

I don't think anyone here would mistake that for Vista... (and on that matter, placing people here under the suspicion of being "morons" isn't exactly nice...)

The best thing I can think of off hand is giving you ROM I know to work to try. Check your PMs in a few seconds.

It's a [!] (Verified clean ROM), and besides, they're illegal!

So what's your point? If the one you already have is any more legal than the one I linked you, it very positively won't work.

So can you try with the ROM I linked you in a PM anyway?

From a ROM? Sorry, unless you have blatant buffer overflow exploits in your emulator and the virus author can accurately predict which one you are going to use, it doesn't work like that.

Otherwise, is the message box you displayed from before or after you replaced the Lunar Compress library? (Could it be something like the binary loader expecting a 64-bit application but getting a 32-bit one?) Is there any interesting information in the "details" view?

No, I believe the program has NO compatibility with x64 systems, it needs some tweaking, and I can't program.

This problem has been reported before, and a workaround is available. You will need the CorFlags tool that comes with the .Net SDK.

Deal with it. There is no simpler way to use corflags, so unfortunately you're just going to have to learn. It's not hard.

Open command prompt
type cd "/DirectoryWhereLazyShellIs/"
corflags.exe LAZYSHELL.exe /32BIT+
exit
