Wolfram alpha is the first attempt at a scientific knowledge database that you simply ask a question; an AI interpretation system takes over from there. Although not perfect yet, it's certainly promising.

And they seem to have a sense of humor, too.

I enjoy putting in mathematical equations. Its fun to see it graph circles and give solution sets and such. Man, if I had this when we were doing conic sections in Algerbra 2...

I recommend using CASes like Maple to get the same thing done in a more versatile and fast manner.

And yeah, right when it first surfaced, I asked it for the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow. Its answer made sense; ever since that, I am contemplating starting to stock up on weapons for the machine uprising.

I dare you to read the answer to life, the universe and everything in a Data voice.

Speaking of Data, there are apparently 47 species of African swallows according to the error message I got when I asked about the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow, formed as an actual question.

Baby don't hurt me...

Some pseudo-random searches: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

It's a good start, but definitely not perfect. It doesn't even know who The Beatles are.

Are you implying they never expected anyone to think of entering a simple yet impossible division problem? Cause I think they did.

input: w00t - mathematica problem

Definite over the radius of a square R (It was something like this):

integral integral_(t^2+w^2
So, whenever I say w00t in math class(Not that I do ), i'm saying a very complex math problem.

EDIT: The mass of a N00B is 10.811 mass per mole.

Made of Nitrogen and Boron.
