I remember when I first found out about Fraxy, someone had built a boss that shot out Explosion tanks from inside the main body and it seemed to have an unlimited supply of them...can someone recreate that or teach me how to do it?

What they did was probably stack a whole bunch of hidden explosion tanks attached to missile cores somewhere, and when a certain event was triggered the missile cores activated and the explosion tanks turned visible. There wouldn't have been an infinite amount because of the parts limit, though there might have been quite a few.

So is there any way to bring back a destroyed part on a boss? And I remembered somthing, The tanks would shot out and were ready to explode as soon as they hit space.

I don't think it's possible to revive destroyed parts yet.

Also, they exploded after being launched because most likely part of the launch event also had the tank "suicide", thus killing it and activating its effect.

Create an event that, when it activates, does "Play Movement" of a missile core with an explosion tank attached, set the explosion tank's "display" to "normal", and have the explosion tank "suicide". That's how the basic event would go.

Nightkev, I think he's thinking of a bit further back, like with the -axis series. THAT specifically was done by pasting on a huge supply of explosion tanks on missile cores, as nightkev said. But, this was before events, so instead the joint-detach parts were used and had different times where they "played" to launch the missile. The event way is much easier now, but this is how it was done originally by FraxyFactory.

Except he said they exploded upon being launched, therefore it must've been done with events.

THAT was done using a Suicide Device, NightKev

Oh yeah, I forgot that part even existed, since it's far easier to use the suicide event now.

Having a EMP blast weapon would be nice, instead of having to rely on Tanks though. Even if it's just the energy regeneration/booster blocking and no damage, would allow to make interesting stuff.

He's referring to FF's Hydraxis, most probably.
Anyway, such questions should go to the central qn thread!

There is one plausible way that Ive been trying, opens up a few glitches though. You just set them under an event so that when they are destroyed, the effect changes to "appear Checkpoint", or delete/phase in. Worse comes to worse you just set the event to non-deleting and just make it turn to hide status when destroyed and back.
