Super Princess Peach - DS
Much better game than I thought. Would be fun too mess around with. Lufia 2 - SNES One of my Fav Snes RPGS has turn based battle system mixed with Zelda style tools and puzzles. So deserves a editor. Double Dragon - Arcade/genesis Spent faaaar too much time playing this game over the years. Could do a decent hack with right tools. It never had a decent sequal. Did get 2 good fan games though, Fists Of Fury and Forever. |

Simply put:
Bionic Commando: Rearmed. Making swinging puzzles would be a blast. Left 4 Dead. Do I even need to explain? |

Star Fox 1 for SNES or a clone of the game for PC + a level editor. Because the game kicked ass. ____________________ Zelda Hacking Forum hobbies: delectatio morosa |

The Guardian Legend
- It's pretty much the best game ever made. Dynowarz: The Destruction of Spondylus - It sucks, but I want to make it as good as the title would suggest. |

Posted by NightKev It's a shame that IS used absolutely none of that potential with FEDS. God that game sucked. :/ Another game I think that could really use a level editor? Blast Corps! Design a city then blow it up! |

I just wish somebody would leak the Marble Madness 2 rom. It was fully finished, but never got released. It looked awesome.
Zelda seems to be a popular choice, I'd def like a Minish Cap editor... |

Posted by c0nfu53d Heh, now I'm thinking about Ocarina of Time editors and the like... Ocarina of Time was fun, but there wasn't enough challenges for me, as bizarre as it may sound. Then again, I haven't played in a while... so yeah. EDIT (5/8/2009): Fixed a typo. ____________________ Fraxy Creations Youtube Channel |

I liked it because I was playing a direct remake that polished the bad features but retained the original quality of the first game. It's not as good as the rest of the series, but it's still a nice play for a fan, especially one who loves the NES/Famicom era of gaming ^^;
I think the levels are compressed under plain LZ77. I don't fully remember though. Surprisingly, there's level editing for the first, third, fourth, sixth, seventh, and eight Fire Emblems. The GBA series has no actual level editor yet, but the format is known, and one can use Mappy to create maps and convert them to the level format the game uses. The first game has no compression. The third and fourth have Japanese level editors. If someone's highly interest in hacking the series, the GBA portion is covered heavily here. Lots of editors, though they use a program called Nightmare, a generic data editor that someone posted at acmlm years ago. There's enough data known to create full-editors, if a fan wants to program one. I know Squash Monster had said he was interested in doing something like that for the eight Fire Emblem, and even made a "beta" level editor called FireVine ^^ |
