To the critics who badmouth this: STFU.

Honestly. I don't see what's not to like. Going in, you know that a) there will be gallons upon gallons of blood, b) that it will be so over the top that it reaches a new plateau, c) it will be badass.


So...knowing all those things, how can you criticize it? Is it cheesy, and is the dialogue a bit over the top? Yep. Does it hurt the movie? Nope.

I give it 9/10, simply because a 10/10 would mean it's a perfect movie. 300 has its flaws, but they're so minor that they don't even need bear mentioning.


Also, thanks to this I am going to run 2 miles tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, etc, and get the most ballin abs evarrr.

Last view: 5342 days 		I just came back from watching it and it was so dark and bizarre but pretty hardcore. These Spartans abandoning babies and whatnot made them into badass mfos in my eyes.

It was like Frank Frazetta's artwork except it was all alive. I too only noticed a few tiny scratches in the movie such as the mild but predictable punch-lines and some historic inaccuracies. Also noticed that the blood never reached the ground before disappearing into dust which was beyond unrealistic... it was cartoony.

Beyond all that, I'll give it a 9.5/10... near perfect. I LOVED it.

Last view: 4333 days 		Saw it in IMAX on Sunday. It was good that at least the action scenes were entertaining. Although slow motion can get really really annoying after a while. Many parts were very exaggerated and ridiculous(the scene with the bomb throwers?) while there was also a bit of racism in there too. In short, it is a throwaway epic that looked better as a trailer and the plot progressed like a videogame. (brush off the grunts, get to the miniboss and eventually the boss)
