This could have really been done through a PM...

Custom Titles are earned when you meet certain criteria. You must have been here for a year and have 800 posts, or, under a year and have 1200 posts. At that point you will have the option in your profile to change it to whatever you want.

The staff body has been discussing this topic a little though, so sit tight and just bet for meeting that criteria for now.

Sure, I can do that for you just as soon as you set your rankset to 'none.' Unfortunately, edituser.php does not have all the same controls as editprofile.php, so I can't do it myself.
