The one on the right is more than a Tetris piece though, it sort of breaks out of the shape the left one holds a bit.

although the one on the right breaks out of its shape, I think the other one has a more glitched feel. You can also very, very faintly see a pokémon in the left one, though I forget which one I'm seeing D:

I'm pretty sure Missingno uses the call... sound... thing of that one, though

I say the one on the right. The GBA has more colors so it would make sense for the glitches to use all the colors too.

Glitches rarely display completely random data, though, which is why a more regular/recurrent line structure would be more natural.

The right MissingNo is based on:
1) an MHT file of Bulbapedia's article -on- MissingNo loaded into Tile Molester in 4BPP Reversed mode
2) the left one (as a mask)
3) Pokémon Yellow's version (which is much more square)
4) The fossils from the museum (which can also be used by certain MissingNos)
5) A bikini girl's palette (how random!)

Which also makes Bukkarooo's statement a little funnier.

Even though the right one has more colors and is slightly off at the top, I like the left one, it feels familiar and looks fine at least as far as living embodiments of glitches go. XD It looks like a tetris piece and for some reason just feels somewhat correct. The only bad thing about the left one is that it has barely any color.
