So I've noticed that some of you like to make YT movies of Fraxy, and I'm wondering what video capture/editing programs you guys use (anyone who wants to make some but isn't sure what program(s) to use could use this info, I'm sure (me too  )). Also, tips/etc would be nice too.____________________ |

I use CamStudio for recording and Windows Movie Maker for editing.
Some things I do for Fraxy vids (that pretty much most other people do, but I feel like posting anyways  ):
-I try to adjust the region so that I'm only getting me making enemies explode into lots of pieces. -Sound isn't that big of a deal for me since I put (hopefully) fitting VG music in the video-to-be while I'm editing anyways. -I also make sure that the fight itself/parts of the fight doesn't/don't lag while I'm recording. If it happens to do so, I simply speed up the section where it lags, which is why there could end up being a noticeable difference in FPS in the end result. -I also try not to have the battle drag on; if it does, I would have to separate the recorded material into parts, and I despise doing that. That's all the tips I have at the moment. I'll probably need to elaborate, and if I do, I'll try my best to do so. ____________________ Fraxy Creations Youtube Channel |

I use hypercam and edit it with windows movie maker.
Some things I do in my videos are. . . -I don't record sound from the gameplay (One time I did though, but the sound quality is poor) -Nice fitting music for the battle -Always put in credits with the music used and parameters for the battle. (rank, ship, weapons etc.) -As aqua said, don't make the video drag out to long. -And if you're into the stuff, put a little storyline behind you video to make it more interesting. Well thats all I got. Goodluck to whoever wants to make a video. |
