That's cool. Thanks, Kawa.

Updated findings:

Exiting Pipes
1-2: Floats up into thin air.
2-1: Floats up into thin air.
2-2: (See below.)
3-1: Floats up into thin air.

Do you have plants in some pipes in 2-2? If you do, they aren't visible. Plus if you go down the pipe in the first image, you appear as shown in the second image. You don't come out of the pipe or the ground - you're just left standing there.

If you fall down the pit as shown in the first image, you'll appear in the underground area that you would go to if you went down the appropriate pipe as shown in the second image.

Aw, look at the cute fish... WHAT THE HECK?! IT'S A KOOPA!!!

1-2: Pipe Fixed
2-1: Pipe Fixed
2-2: Pipe Changed into a non-enterable one
3-1: Pipe Fixed

Hmm.....I can possibly say that it is because where I changed the header for 3-1 into a cloud one.....and in Cloud Bonus Rooms you usually head back into the level if you fall down a hole

The Fish Turning into Koopas.....I don't know what is causing that.

Yeah, I recall that. There's a vine in 3-1 as well that will take you up to a bonus area, and I tested it and it works properly. Other times if you fall down the pit in the cloud areas, you'll just get sent back to the beginning of the level. I think why I got sent to the underground area is because I first entered the pipe before I tried dropping down into the pit this time around. It seems like different enemies behave/appear differently in areas that they usually aren't placed in, similar to the plants in the water level being invisible.

A new problem has sprung up...not sure if it is a bug or not. I can't Access Steve's Warp Shack on 4-2 {The one leading to world 5}

Really? Odd. I never actually did test the warp out myself since I was playing through all the levels and thus skipping warps. Why/how exactly can it not be accessed?

Basically when I try it...The Scrolling Stops at the L-Pipe thus making me trapped...I did not modify anything around it other then adding a block next to the pipe so that the players can reach the ceiling.

I'll check it out as soon as I can, but I have to take a break to eat first. What if you tried moving the block away and seeing if things work properly then? Just make sure you jump on top when you have the chance a little earlier on in the level.

Hopefully I'll be back in a bit.

I see what you were talking about now.

If you run along the top, the screen stops moving and you're stuck.

If you take the bottom route, the screen will continue moving when you reach that area. You can then break through the brick to reach the top of the level and run to Steve's Warp Shack. I went through the pipe and got warped to 5-1 as well. So the issues are that you cannot reach the warp pipe by running along the top, and for some reason the "8" appears in the warp area as well. Any ideas, anyone?

The 8......That was a secret for SMB players that used the Minus World trick in 1-2.

I know about the Minus World trick in 1-2 and I've seen videos of other people doing it as well, but I don't recall seeing the 8 in those cases. It has been a while though so I've pretty much forgotten the details...

As I was working my way up to 4-2 to test that out though, I found a couple more pipe cases to add to the list:

4-1: Floats up into thin air.
4-2: Floats up into thin air.

4-1: Pipe is Fixed
4-2: Pipe is fixed

So...what is left after all these pipes are fixed

Graphic cut-offs... palettes... cookies?

You didn't mention this in the list of planned changes, but have you thought about changing the music as well?

The Comprehensive Guide to SMB1 Music Hacking by Dr. Floppy will teach you what you need to know when it comes to SMB1 music hacking. Yay!

Do you have a hex editor like WindHex32 or even the hex editor that is in the FCEUXD emulator? With it, you can access the necessary parts of the ROM for proper editing. With FCEUXD, you can make changes and apply them to the game as it is running in the emulator, and you don't have to save them unless you want to keep them! So if the game crashes or you make changes that you don't want to keep, you can just Undo those changes or close and reload the game and start from scratch.

So when editing the music, change some values in the FCEUXD hex editor and listen to what the music sounds like and go from there.

Well the question is how you want your "Nuthead" character to appear. You're probably going to have to provide some kind of description so that whoever is willing to help you with the graphics can actually develop some kind of image to go by.

Well actually....When I first designed Nuthead a long time ago...He was just a Mario with a Blue Hat, Blue Shirt, and Light Blue Pants.

Well at least that's something to go by now. So are you looking for help on the graphics of landscapes and objects? Do you want "Nuthead Mario" to have a different look like in other SMB1 graphic hacks? A list would probably help organize some ideas and goals. If you're looking for graphic designers, you're going to have to provide some guidelines; as many people have told others in the past, they aren't going to do the majority of the work.

Also, remember that Kawa offered to help you with the palettes, so if you need help with the palettes for Mario, Luigi, and other stuff like the levels, be sure to ask him about that as well.

Yeah...Everything has to have new Graphics......The Guidelines are this...

1: They need to be somewhat good with editing them.
2: Make them Neat.
3: Show me an In-Game shot of the Enemy after they get done.

I had some Ideas.

Fortress Tiles: They Should look like Metalic Machinery Due to the Fact that All X-4 Levels invovle Machines.

Goombas: Goombas should look like a Round Sphere Connected to a Puddle [A Being of Darkness] That has one Yellow Eye in the middle.

Bloopers: Bloopers should look like Robotic Squids that can fly outside of land. They Would Be Red and White.

Beetles: They Should look like Hovering Beetles.

SMB Logo: Sort of a Parody of it if Possible.....Instead of Super Mario Bros...It would Say Super Nuthead Bros. But if we can't...just have them create a logo

Peach: Peach should be replaced with Rosalina from SMG....Look her up on Mario Wiki if they do not know what she looks like.

Bowser's Fire: They need to look like Bolts of Lightning

That is all I can Come up with at the moment. Nuthead Should look different..just like in other SMB1 hacks
