Last view: 5332 days 		I am currently trying to decide what graphics card I should get.

I need to upgrade my current graphics card so I can play Elder Scrolls Oblivion. I am also wanting to get City of Villians.

Elder Scrolls has a minium requirement of GE Force 6800

Should I just get that or something better. If it is something better could you give me an example of something so I know what to look for?

Need more information! What price range are you looking for? Do you prefer nvidia or ATi? What expansion slots do you have? What OSes do you run? What are the other specs of your machine?

An nVidia GeForce 9800GTX perhaps? Not too pricey and it can play the latest games.

Hm. Oblivion can be quite tough to run at times so you might need a card that's a bit better than the 9800GTX. My old card was a Radeon X1950XTX and Oblivion lagged like mad on that.

Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 1GB GDDR5 might be good.

Remember to check benchmarks and whatnot of the cards on the net. And what other people think about it before buying. Ratings and such.

Last view: 5332 days 		I checked a site called Newegg.com and found that the Sapphire Radeon card seems to have a chance of really screwing up. I still have to check the nVidia...

I'd say that is a fairly good deal for what I am looking for. If I get it soon it comes with COD: World at War.

Ok. You could try to get a XFX GeForce GTX 260 or XFX GeForce GTX 275 if you want something that's a bit better, though. Else you might have to buy a new card within a year or so.
