Thought so. . . . I 've tried some other things. Tried seeing if there was a phrase that you got from those letters in the alphabet. Didn't really work. I tried translating the numbers in to hylian numbers. and I tried taking those letters from the translation of step five. |

Just remember that Okibi's old end date for the contest, April 5'th (4/5/07), was a clue to step 6. |

Posted by DragIf it were 16 digits, I'd suspect it were a Wii ID or something along those lines. Do any games use 18-digit numbers? |

Posted by noha420 I thought that date was only for an "extra" clue for people who solve the 3rd step BY that date? |

Sorry, maybe I jumped to conclusions too fast there. In the BS Zelda forums, he says: "I'll give you another hint. Rated O has something about 6. Can you find it?" As far as I can remember, the only change to the site was the "end date", and when he wrote in his first post here: "NOTE: The End Date is NOT an actual end date, but a hint date. Everyone who finished step 3 by that date gets an extra FINAL hint. Can you do it?" I assumed the date was the hint itslf. But that may have been the hint he was referring to in the BS Zelda forum, or not. Either way, I don't think anyone here has the hint to step 6 he spoke of.

With this step I'm assuming the numbers translate into letters.
Best way to start is by using the 5 numbered digit that starts and ends in zero. its the most unique number and would result in a much smaller list of words that start and end with the same letter. Using this word list I compiled all the 5 letter words fitting that criteria. abaca aceta aboma adyta aecia agama agora agria ajiva ajuga akela aliya aloha alula ameba amiga amnia anima antra aorta apnea areca arena aroma asana asyla atria blurb ceric civic codec colic comic conic cosec cubic cusec cynic dared dated dawed dazed deked deled dewed diced diked dined dived doled domed doped dosed doted dowed dozed dread dreed dried druid dryad duded duked duped dured dyked eagle eagre edile educe eerie elate elide elite elope elude elute emcee emote emyde enate endue ensue enure epode erase erode erose etape etude etwee evade evite evoke exile exine exude eyrie feoff fluff glogg going gulag harsh hatch haugh heath heigh heuch heugh hitch hooch horah hotch humph hunch hutch iambi indri issei kaiak kamik kapok kayak kiosk knack knock kopek kulak kyack label lapel legal level libel local loral losel loyal madam maxim miasm minim modem ninon niton nomen numen nylon ortho outdo outgo ovolo pinup plump polyp primp racer radar raker raper rarer raser rater raver rawer razer razor rebar recur refer ricer rider rifer rigor rimer riper riser river roger roper rotor rover rower ruder ruler rumor sabes sacks sades sadis safes sagas sages sagos saids sails sains sakes sakis sales salps salts samps sands sanes sards saris sarks saros sates satis sauls saves saxes scabs scads scags scams scans scars scats scops scots scows scuds scums scups scuts seals seams sears seats sects seeds seeks seels seems seeps seers segos seifs selfs sells semes semis sends septs seres serfs setts sexes sexts shads shags shahs shams shaws shays sheas sheds shews shies shims shins ships shits shivs shoes shogs shoos shops shots shows shris shuls shuns shuts sials sibbs sices sicks sides sifts sighs signs sikes silds silks sills silos silts simas simps sines sings sinhs sinks sinus sipes sires sises sites situs sixes sizes skags skats skees skegs skeps skews skids skies skims skins skips skits skuas slabs slags slams slaps slats slaws slays sleds slews slims slips slits slobs sloes slogs slops slots slows slubs slues slugs slums slurs sluts smews smogs smuts snags snaps snaws sneds snibs snips snits snobs snogs snots snows snubs snugs snyes soaks soaps soars socks sodas sofas softs soils sojas sokes soles solos solus somas sones songs sooks soots sophs soras sorbs sords sores sorns sorts sorus soths souks souls soups sours soyas spaes spans spars spats spays specs spews spics spies spiks spins spits spivs spots spuds spues spurs stabs stags stars stats stays stems steps stets stews sties stirs stoas stobs stops stoss stows stubs studs stums stuns styes subas sucks sudds suers suets sughs suits sulks sulus sumos sumps sunns supes suras surds surfs swabs swags swans swaps swats sways swigs swims swiss swobs swops swots syces sykes sylis syncs syphs tacet tacit taint tarot taunt tempt tenet theft tight tinct toast torot tract trait trapt treat trout trust tryst tweet twist twixt widow xerox yechy yeuky yolky yucky yummy Anyone attempting this, good luck. |

Flurry #&postrank& If they're all words from the list and each number is a different letter, that still leaves 2520 possible answers (even missing the letter for 7) to look through ... I checked, yes
And if "78510" happens to be "Zelda", the rest would have to fit "le__ ad__a le__" ... I'm not sure if the 6 in "Rated O has something about 6" meant step 6, but I haven't found anything about it on the site ____________________ |

Here is a page that loops through that list, and checks to make sure that besides the first and last letter, no other letter is the same. If that's true, it prints the code replacing each number in "01430" with the corresponding letter in that word.
Look around and see if you spot anything interesting. I have never played a single Zelda game or anything, I just wanted to help. |

It doesn't work quite right. "Emcee" and "alula" got through, at the very least.
(All should bear in mind: Barring a rotating cipher, the 1st and 3rd words are the same. Anyone have an idea what phrase would fit with a 4-letter word repeated?) |

Even though I showed my code to two other people, no one caught that.
It was just a brain fart though. Fixed now. |

Well the thing with the extra hint being given to the people who solved step 3 by 4/5/07, wasn't real. It was the date 4/5/07. |

Posted by Bomberman10 Are you positive about this? He said that the people who solved step 3 by 4/5/07 would receive an extra hint. So why make it visible to all. Or would they just not know that the clue is sitting in front of their eyes? ____________________ |

Ok, I'm completely stumped with this. I have no clue what those numbers are supposed to be. There are too many possibilities, since numbers can represent anything. My biggest idea was that it was tones to some kind of a song, but I can't get anything recognizable out of those numbers.
Yeah, a hint or a clue would certainly be helpful. ____________________ |

It says:
Even though the answer was the password for the fake rom, I assume that's still true. My guess is those numbers translate to an alternative answer. ____________________ "I'd like to confuse bok choy with cabbage." |
