I have an idea, how about one of you post the translation of the text for those of us that wouldn't mind taking a crack at it, but don't care enough to spend the time needed to translate when people claim to have already translated it?

March 2007 Project Zero Contest

Congratulations on solving steps 1 through 4. This is step 5 and
Is the second to hardest step.

All you have to do for this step is translate the following
phrase. Apparently you can read modern Hylian but can you read old
Hylian. Translate the following phrase to english and email me
what it says.

Zelda Freak knows more than he tells
Good Luck!

The last two words are "Good luck!" in the modern Hylian font.

Not yet, I'm not sure what kind of answer Okibi wants.

I tried the answers Gannondorf and Tingle neither worked.

Plus, they don't believe I went from step 1 to 5 in one day.

Forgive me if this has been said, but it might be as simple as Okibi is the Zelda Freak. It would make sense, because he/she knows more than he/she is telling us...

Also, another thing to think about is the player playing the game is also perhaps a "Zelda Freak"?

Eh...food for thought at least...

OK, here is the fact. Any here complete step 4. There was a hint in that congrats of step 4 into what he was looking out of the translation.

Step 1- The password -TheGoldenLand
Step 2- The Archived Rom- IT'SAFAKE.php
Step 3- The First Congrats page- The shape of the Triforce is based on the mon symbol of the Japanese Hōjō clan, which is said to represent the three scales of a Shinto dragon." The number 3 in each triangle.and Three eyed rock
Step 4- The Second congrats page - "I am Error" is a person in Zelda II, and Zelda's picture is official art from The Minish Cap. After talking to someone Error gives you information that "South of Kings Tomb in Mido is a Tunnel". Mido is the Kokiri who blocks your way to the Great Deku Tree in Ocarina of Time. The Deku tree and his children reappear in The Wind Waker, but are now called Koroks. The Deku Tree explains this in this quote: "These are the Koroks-the spirits of the forest. Once upon a time, long ago, the Koroks took on human forms, but when they came to live on the sea, they took these shapes. Now they fear people...but to me, they will ever be my cherished little children." It also happens in the Wind Waker they hold a festival every year. Deku tree also explains this: "As it happens, you have come just in time for a ceremony that the Koroks hold but once ever year." In the Minish Cap the Picori are now the children of the forest, and in Hyrule they hold the Picori festival once a year. This is where the picture is connected, because its in this festival that Zelda wins that shield for Link in a contest!
Step 5- The translation- "March 2007 Project Zero Contest Congratulations on solving steps 1 through 4. This is step 5 and is the second to hardest step. All you have to do for this step is translate the following phrase. Apparently you can read modern Hylian but can you read old Hylian. The first two steps kinda make sense.

"The Golden Land, it's a fake". The Golden Land is fake.

But then:
Three eyed rock, Error, shield given to Link. Zelda freak.

...what?

Anyone got the confirmation email from step 4?

I believe that the zelda freak is either old man form the beginning of the first zelda or Okibi himself. He was the creatator of this contest, so he has to knows more than we do definately.

Is there a limit as to how many times you can e-mail Okibi? If not, just try it. Say that he is the Zelda Freak (or do both ideas...).

I just looked over this whole contest again. In the first page of the contest, it says:

To win the grand prize, all you have to do is answer one single question...

The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time was considered odd because of the inability to obtain the Triforce, or so it seemed. Many rumors can be found on the internet explaining how to obtain the Triforce. My question for you is... where is the Triforce located?

We answered that question, and we didn't get the grand prize. We got a fake rom. So then our next step was to enter "itsafake.php" into the address bar. Then we got step 2.

That's misleading. It doesn't say anywhere that we'd need to answer 6 riddles. So did we answer that one single question, or is it still unanswered?

Either way, I'm guessing that to answer step 5, we need to focus on "zelda freak knows more than he tells". Who's this zelda freak? Maybe he's not part of the game. Was he the original seller of this game? Zelda freak knows more about WHAT than he tells? I really have no idea about anything here.

Zeldafreak in fact is a Rated O member. His only post is this:

"Why was my contest taken down? Is it because I left rated o? Put it back up okibi!"

His profile doesen't say anything. Maybe I should contact him, maybe this was his contest, or part of it?
