Well, the platforming does get quite difficult after awhile, but it's never really 'unfair' and to be quite honest what do you expect from the guy who made Jumper? It's only really insane on the appropriately named "Insanity" difficulty you get after beating Masterful, where all hits instantly kill you.

I do, I only get one jump off after wards and I just end up into the spikes.

I don't know if theres a certain method of doing it or not, but eh, looking around for more jump upgrades.

Hold jump as you bounce off to gain more height. Even with few jump upgrades you should still make it if you get a full jump and full double jump.

Insanity can die in a fire > Currently in Stonecastle, keep dying to the 4th barrage of stones. Also, I die between the fire jumps sometimes on the way to the boss
