Wow, how crappy.

I was expecting something from Super Princess Peach too. Except without all the BURNING RAEG >8((((((((((((( and with LOL FIREBALL BARRAGE.

It's all about timing the use, people.

Or getting your cousin mad.
He wouldn't like being out like that. Especially if a golden hammer came up.
(Do you flinch if the golden hammer starts squeaking?)

It's as if Rare were still with Nintendo!

Or they finally let PAON do DKC4!

That looks really awesome. I also like how you won't be playing the same character through the whole thing apparently. It will be interesting to see if some of the characters are siding with the bad guys. I'm kind of thinking that Metaknight will be a boss.

So I know a lot of people who played this game today. I, sadly, missed the chance by a few minutes... But I intend to play it on Monday.

Lack of wavedashing and l-cancelling makes me a sad panda.

Putting words into my mouth is not a legit argumental tactic, Zem.

I'm just saying, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to take out abilities that weren't particularly gamebreaking.

Though, on the other hand, the stuff they've added is probably better. Air moves are a lot faster in general, which is nice. The heavy characters don't look like they're just utterly terrible. I like the way airdodging works now. It's nice that dashdancing is harder, but still possible.

Really, now, wavedashing couldn't possibly work due to the way airdodging now is, but l-cancelling... I just don't see why it was removed.

Let the internet nerd army weep and wail, wavedashing is no more! They shall rot and die forever in Melee; they durst not lay hands upon a game that hath not any wavedashing.
I dunno about you, but I'm just going to play the motherfucking game as intended. Maybe we'll find some other exploit along the way.

Wavedashing is a Melee relic and it better stay that way.

Besides, if you wanna use a glitch to play the game, you can do it on an obsolete console.

maybe they decided to balance the characters based on their inherent landing lag instead of the secret landing lag they dont' tell you about

It's not like l-cancelling was hard or unobvious. If nothing else they could've explicitly mentioned it in the manual.

They can make it better by adding support for drawing up to five custom doodles (with effects, paths, etc) to use at random in the stage.

Could this heighten the chance of having Mii to play as?

Who knows, but they got the music.

You are BRILLIANT.

Playing as a Mii could be awesome, and depending on what the Mii's color, favorite status, skin color, hair, hair color, etc, stuff like that, they could have different moves based solely on appearance!

I want to see communication with the DS and drawing things to affect the stage as other people play on it.

For those of you who didn't notice, this update on the site added a new "world icon." This obviously means that we'll be getting a character* based on the DS's menu somehow.

*Note: This will occur shortly after Zero Suit Wario is revealed.

New update is just the video that Kamin posted, but higher quality and without the game play. Still looks nice though.
