UPDATE: Shadow Moses Island, three MGS2 movies that show some MGS characters chatting to Snake and another update with a movie showing Snake in Brawl.

Wow...

Metal Gear REX and Metal Gear RAY will make a guest appearance in the level as well as another such robot or something.

I just... don't get why Snake always wants to be naked...
Regardless, I just hope the Metal Gears don't always looks so... jumbled. The spotlight looks pretty cool though.

I do not know if I want to be excited for the retroness of the NES sprite style, or just to call Nintendo lazy. Either way, if that means they will have even more assist trophies by making the graphics easy on themselves, then go for eet!

Yeah I know. Is Sakurai even lazy to try and add the Exitebike from Exitebike 64? And why can't there be 3D rendered Lakitu like in NSMB?

half the fun of this game is retroness, they could update everything, but it wouldn't have the same feeling. true it doesn't take as much work, but I wouldn't call them lazy, this kind of thing is really popular with some folks

I can say with some 80% certainty that the first thing that all my friends will say when they see that in the actual game is something along the lines of "Whoa. Awesome!" Trust me, most of the difficulty in making those things is not in the graphics, so they aren't being particularly lazy with it.

Also: Who would find the bike from Excitebike 64 to be even slightly interesting or iconic in any way? It's just a bike. At least the NES one has history behind it and looks unique.

Wait. How is this any worse than Kingdom or Kingdom II?

Before you start claiming he's Ash, Ash never evolved his Bulbasaur.

He's always had it as a Bulbasaur.

I like how you can stand on the landmaster and not get hurt unless its moving or firing. This could prove to be great for when you're not fighting but just screwing around.

It would really rock if smash bros had a video recording mode, and maybe an editing mode too, it just really would. a LOT. Really.

tonight's update is bigger than normal, or not, depending on how you look at it.

TEAM PLAY

this is co-op in the new adventure mode. The camera follows player one but if player 2 gets left behind they can teleport back to player 1. They did point out though that you can't cheat, if you get hit out of the camera, you lose a stock.

So yeah, co-op, that already rocks, but the whole adventure mode even has it's own map (like Soul Calibur or something)

also, even in single player adventure mode (subspace emissary) you must select a team of characters, you are only allowed so many deaths per level, and when you die you are replaced by your teammate ala King of Fighters.

also the highest difficulty level is now called "intense" I wonder if it's even harder than usual.

the Adventure/Story mode looks really fleshed out this time, I like seeming them spend more time on this stuff, it's cool.

I wonder if Co-op will be... nah they'd never let that be on Wi-fi would they?... oh well I have a Gamecube Controller and I'm sure my Sister wouldn't mind playing Co-op some time, she loved Melee just as much as me so... maybe it wont be an entire loss... or I could see if my girlfriend would like to play too... Or I could make some friends who actually like Nintendo?...

Anyway, yesterday they revealed Zero Suit Samus' special moves and Ashley's theme from WarioWare Touched. Today they revelaed Kirby's Final Smash.
